I just lost all my items by dropping them in the ship's cargo bay and they disappeared. First I spent too much time to collect everything and then I lost them. I think I'm done with this game.
This can help with inventory to talk to the black girl a the lodge ask about a room in the room she give u have a big safe that has infinite mass I store resources in it resources can take up a lot of space all the work station are at the lodge anyway
easy method: in your room at the lodge you've got a safe. this safe has INFINITE room! I have stored ALL materials for crafting there (every time I return to New Atlantis, take ALL materials from ship and companions. take it to the lodges safe. ONE button press!). do all your crafting in the lodge! comes in handy, because in the basement of the lodge you find all sorts of crafting tables. when you are finaly invest points in crafting (science, LONG way!) go to the lodge, go to your safe, get ALL materials, go crafting, but ALL materials back. done!
The Mantis ship also has a storage crate on board that doesn't affect the weight of your ship. I just throw everything in there. Just don't use the gun racks as of right now they will eat your guns. Hopefully this is patched soon.
I feel like any house you buy should have an unlimited resource chest. I shouldn’t have to build 20 crates to hold resources that I need to use to craft anyways
There is an unlimited storage safe in ur bedroom in the lodge of constellation. U can actually fast travel to the door of the lodge to for easy access and all the benches in the game are in the basement of the lodge. Prbly the best early game location to put all your stuff.
Storage system is so bad in Starfield comapared to fallout 4, in fallou you jad eerything i 1 place even across the map, here you uave to resort to different storages and go through lots of menu and clicks, items in crafti statins and stoarege are not highlighted properly, items in companion storage are not sorted with tabs, you can t transfer itms to ship cargo ifyou are not outside and close to your ship…it s very messy
I already miss Fallout 4's storage system. It really sucks you can't build lockers, fridges, and other items to store various different items. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to take that away?
Okay really simple, I learned this last night while playing. If you want to store your items in your ship because say you can't fast travel to the Lodge or you're already overencumbered and on a distant planet and you need to stash your weight. So board your ship, head towards your cockpit and right before the cockpit on your left is a limelight screen with readout display and you want to go up to it and it will say cargo and then you can put items in the cargo hold of your ship the same way that you give items to your companion. SIMPLE.
sooooo i marked some stuff to craft a thing but can't find a way to unmark it i know you can press the button again and "untrack" the materials BUT it dosn't do it if it's being track for a different item this is driving me crazy HALP
Really fucking annoying that my spaceship only has 3 times more storage than my entire fucking character by default, and the frontiers configuration doesn’t accept any extra cargo holds unless you want to blow all your money on swapping out a ton of parts. Makes even less sense if they’re just gonna give you an infinite container in the lodge right at the beginning anyway
I just stored a bunch of my good items in a storage box on my ship. I think its called a fore or something but i just customized my ship and ended up moving it. Got that done went and looked over everything and everything was gone. All the cosmetics i put on stands were in my ships inventory, all my weapons were gone though. Lost a bunch of stuff so be careful you guys dont do the same. I honestly dont know if its because i moved it in customization or because it just erased automatically overtime.
My problem is I just lost all of my stuff because I had stuff stored in my ship chest and I decided to add a part onto my ship. Apparently if you add parts to your ship it resets the chests on the inside but not your ship’s storage itself.
I used to spent on auth for more than $80k before. I was so regret and wished I would know about high quality repliacas earlier so I could save a lot. I have bought more than 7 bags from a company called kislux and really cannot distinguish the differences between them. I even sold some of my auth ones and buy more reps from them

I think your room in constellation can store items as well

Yeah that's cool, but sadly your crafting tables wont pull resources directly out of these containers. Anyone know a way to connect them somehow?
