I really hate the fact that Amazon is taking care of this game I'm seriously afraid that they might sink the ship that seemed to be unsinkable. I had unfortunate experience with their customer Service and it was the worst experience I've ever had. I spent at this point only around £50, loosing 10 but I won't spend any more. Because Amazon behind it made me really uncertain about the game I was sure will be success and I have no, 0 trust in them and their problem solving, so if there be any issue like ban with no reason I won't receive proper help and loose more money.
So I’m was thinking about trying the game but I won’t risk my time to get banned later

imagine if the goldseller's bots just reported anyone that got into proximity with them for harassment and they were networked so anytime anyone got near one anywhere all the bots would report that person for harassment.

AGS never gave me my launch celebration gift, I was referred to their Live Chat CS and when I explained my problem the employee had no idea a Launch Celebration Event was even going on… The employees AGS have for Lost Ark support are literally just Amazon Prime CS that got roped into answering Lost Ark tickets on top of their normal CS responsibility… It's ridiculous, AGS is the most penny-pinching, cheapskate company I have ever encountered… Fuck them

After dealing with Amazon game services to sort my account I can honestly say that dude is fucked! The ''specialist'' had no bloody clue what they we're doing even the live chat services said the emailing system workers are completely incompetent doing their jobs so that says a lot. I hope he gets it sorted but I wouldn't have much faith, if they hired folks that actually had a brain cell to rub between them it would improve drastically..

This is more deeper. My clan leader is a professional CS:GO player. He got also banned in LA for similiar reason. Now he got a ban on hes Steam account.
Amazons idea of customer support is having you talk to an AI pretending to be human. This results in a frustrating experience, and your problem is almost never solved.
Amazon Web Service Customer Support:
Me: "Hi. My website is running at a snails pace. Whats going on?"
Amazon: "Thank you for contacting Amazon customer support. I understand you would like to install the app Snail Place. I can help you with this today."
Ok so, if you hear that people are getting banned for this, why would you go and buy a skin from the store thats getting people banned cause of the refunds? If you purchased a skin from the store that was from the founders pack and got banned, you deserved it XD

Funny thing about him saying he won’t get banned for accepting gold and Amazon lets out a statement saying they will in fact ban people who accept gold even if it’s unknowingly from a gold seller will get banned so to please make sure you know who is sending You items and gold 💀😂
Not cool to make up false accusations like that about me without fact checking – I got banned for saying F word (1 month) and during that ban I got indef banned for watching Zizaran his stream on a 2nd account.

Truth is there are bad actors everywhere. Although yes mistakes happen and it could very well happened to thousands of people or…. Thousands of refunders and rwt got hit in the ban wave and now want to play vitcim Andies to skirt responsibility. Sad reality is on new game launches there are huge amounts of rwt and refunders who try and abuse systems for personal gain and when they get caught they cry. It's entitlement and that entitlement seeps into everything these people do. Don't believe reviews claiming to be wrongfully banned. The fact is if it was a mistake it will be corrected but if the ban Is still in place 2 weeks later it's clear.. they broke tos and lack the maturity to take responsibility.

I can confirm AGS is terrible support. I was banned permanently in New World (had accumulated 500+ hours alrdy) for "Reason: cheating/exploiting". I did a ban appeal and received an automated msg. Later the next day another automated msg saying they do not tolerate cheaters and case is closed. And then the next day after I was able to login and my account was now unbanned. Til this day I received no emails saying my ban was lifted nor any answer back why the heck I was banned for in the first place. I guess Im just glad that I didn't get banned, but to think that can happen…was scary. Ever since, I chilled away from NW and decided to play other games. Lost Ark…mm :/
I really expected a lot from Amazon Games, I mean come on it's AMAZON one of the wealthiest companies in the world with tons of I.T management experience. I didn't think handling a game would be too much for them unless the c-suites underbudgeted thier gaming division. They have limitless resources even compared to likes Blizzard, NCsoft, etc.

Just got my account banned because steam revoked a explorer pack DLC (Key bought on Gamivo). They also auto-ban your forum account so I can't even report this on the forum. Created an online web form appeal ticket and got a nice quick response saying I needed to show proof where I bought it and I did. Soon after I got a reply saying the first agent already provided me with all the info and the message ended with "further inquiries on this matter will not receive a response".

really doesnt make sense, in FFXIV purchased items cant be traded/sold, why arent all MMO's like that?
I mean they literally could've gotten together in a thread where they get their hacks or scripts. It's as easy as someone getting banned legit and managed to get their account unbanned with a similar story. Posts a thread to others warning them that he got banned but unbanned. Everyone asks how he did it and boom.
The amount of people in chat saying that people doing literal fraud shouldn't get banned is really worrying. Not only is it an attempt to steal money it also ruins the economy of the game by creating gold for free. If they then go on to sell that gold for real money that is an even bigger issue for both the company and the game. People are being blinded by the few people that got unjustly banned and forgetting that AGS is trying to deal with a huge issue to the game.

any other tradeable cash shop item should not be elligible for refund once said pack/item has been open/used.

So correct about Halo 2 back in the day. It was so amazing. I haven't been able to repeat the same experience since. Other games were fun, but just something about Halo 2 was special.
These folks should find a lawyer willing to sue the amazon studios to recoup their money + time wasted. Nope don't want an unban. Pay it back and compensation. Maybe that would straighten them up.

I got banned because Amazon refunded my purchase then blame me for refunding that purchase.
If people are getting banned for refunding the founder's pack, then why is it refundable !?!?!?
PS2 was $750 on launch where I live. massive rip if it was $200 in the US.
