Death under investigation at Burning Man as thousands left stranded, hungry | Morning in America

An unusual late-summer storm turned a week-long counterculture fest into a sloppy mess with tens of thousands of partygoers stuck in foot-deep mud and with no working toilets in the northern Nevada desert. But some Burning Man revelers said Sunday that their spirits remained unbroken. Organizers closed the festival to vehicles after one death was reported. Officials provided no details of the fatality.

  1. That place is 100% shameless godless debauchery

    It’s an orgy

It’s not a coincidence that this dry desert town got drenched THIS WEEK of all weeks in history

Reminds me of a story in a book

  2. Only idiots would go there so why feel sorry for them. Don't know if any people take their dogs but that's who I would be worried about. They are dependent on the idiots for their food and water. Probably best to never have this "gathering of great minds" again.

  3. This is nothing short of sensationalism…and it's old "news". Nobody is starving; these people have plenty of food. The Playa is rapidly absorbing the rainwater & current reports are that it's drying out fast, as of Sunday evening. Indeed, a few have/are abandoning their camp/belongings & walking out, which event organizers obviously frown on.

  4. its all satanic gathering that hide behind the term festival. he can sleep with your girl/wife and you can sleep with him too if you want. or you can make a group orgy in your tent. and at the end of it, burn it all, forget it all and back to normal life

  5. They deserved this! Many of these humans are wealthy and expect there not to be any resentment among the poor. This was no accident. Never underestimate the elements in a simulated world. They should be thankful not to be burned alive like the children in Maui. “It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than a rich man finding the Kingdom Of God.
