Does anyone know how to target on pc ?
Dont you need to get rid of the illegal cargo first if its a pirate ship?
Can you do this with any ship or do u need a specific thing for the zoomed in target lock?
If you shoot down the shields first it should be easier to disable the engines.
There are ships on the ground too. I came across a group called the Ecleptic. They shot first. I finished…But i cant get in the pilot seat. It says I'm not authorized to pilot the ship. ??
How to actually take both ships (your new captured ship and your main ship) to a port and sell the new one?
Every ship I try this on blows up before I destroy the engines.
They die so fast before the engine is gone, have to wait for their shield to regenerate

Can you give a little more detail on how and where to sell the ship. You said license the ship first. At a shipyard and then just sell it. Sounds stupid but how does one coordinate with two ships? Can I just leave the new ship and space, then license and sell it to the shipyard? OR do I have to bring both in?

Does anyone know of a good system to find ships to battle because I have to destroy 15 ships to get the level 3 piloting perk but the only problem is that I cant find any pirate or crimson fleet ships on any of the systems Iโm visiting
A skill point is required in Detect or something right?

The issue is that when i target the engines they blow up before the bar is low enough for me to dock ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
Yeah, but how do you "Get them"… I have done this a few times and never see the ships in my inventory of ships. Once you undock, you can't dock again. I have sat in the chair and it said something about "making it my home ship", by flying it somewhere, but I didn't want to make it my "home ship", so I undock. Then I can't dock again, and the ship doesn't appear in my list of ships.
Not really an issue, because, at the moment, I have not boarded a ship worthy of really keeping. It's just that the instructions are poor, for the procedure of "possession", and apparently, there is no mention that there is no "second attempt", after undocking. (Though the ship still shows the indicator that it is a dockable ship.)
Once you fry the engines you cant move it. How you supposed to go sell it?

Where do you find ships just flying around to be attacked and boarded? I only see them outside planets that have loads of security around

Not enough people are using EMP weapons. You can fry ships systems and dock very quickly. No need for unnecessary explosions. ๐คจ๐ค๐ซฃ
I am pressing A, and it is not cycling. I'm supposed to bring the guy on the warlock in alive.
I left New Atlantis and went to a point of interest on the other side of the map. I landed there and was running around scanning stuff while making my way to something off in the distance. Once i got there I found a ship just sitting there locked. Picked the lock and it let me fly it back to the city. Has a huge cargo hold but less weapons and a big jump range.
If you disabled but dont have the skill does it despawn i accidentally killed "grandma" but i cant pilot her ship yet๐
Yeah, but after capturing the ship, NPC how do you remove the bodies?
If you pilot the ship you take over what happens to your ship. Is it just left out in space.
