With the airports DLC, I tend to hide the fire, police, and emergency helicopters inside the airport area. It's where they seem to make the most sense to me. Plus you get to have a bit of cool helicopter traffic at your airport.
I might of missed something, but is there a reason you couldn't just put a small water source in the lake and set the level that way?
I dont even own the game and I just binged this entire series in a week. maybe it's a sign…
I really Love this series i Fell in Love with this Game a couple of weeks ago and this beginner Guide really helped me so much in getting a deeper understanding of the Game. Thanks so much. I wouldve Loved to See you do Something with the canals though because thats Something i always struggle with.
My absolute favourite dlc. Finally ads a bit of danger and harm to the gameplay. Not only build and then make a new game. Now the game can kill you. Love it. Best DLC. I wish they added more. Like wars, nucleor fallout if you can't supply nucleor powerplants with electricity
They should add solar storms. Very cold winters very hot weather
Am loving this series. So much helpful information that shows how things work in a really calm and engaging way. I’ve been watching it simultaneously with Overcharged Egg’s noobs guide and love seeing the different styles of play and design on the same map. Thank you for your work – look forward to the last few episodes in this series.
I really wish water levels in CS were easier to manage. I’m working on the same map and have been trying to develop the existing lake on it into a tourist/leisure area with a quay around it. I just can’t get the water level right though. I end up either causing a bad flood or the level being way too low. I’ve been trying the water tool with the extra landscaping mod but still can’t figure it out. I’m probably doing it wrong but wish it was simpler. Waterside assets like restaurant pier, marina etc never seem to sit quite right either.
ND is hands down the worst DLC. I played loads of city skylines when it first came out, sunk about 200 hours in, then forgot about it. Bought all the DLC in one go when the Paradox management sale was on for less than half price. Sunk 12 hours into building a new city, had some fun with earthquakes and sink holes, then got hit by a Tsunami which killed literally the entire population and destroyed every single building. Have not played with them since. Disasters are fun but it shouldn't be game ending given how much of a time sink building a city can be.
My big thing is I wish you could choose which disasters were on.
Most are great but meteors drive me insane!!
Everyone else sees the lake is duck shaped right? Gotta be lake Aflac, or perhaps Lake Gottfried in remembrance.
we are going to use jusst a little bit of eminent domain (ends up using for every new gazebo in town)
When you turn Cities Skylines into a survival horror game
4:28 NOOOOOoOOOOO
Things will be looking tough😂😂😂😂 the subtle threat
Anyone else here hate the flood lands scenario? I just want the doomsday bunker so I can unlock all the monuments
A tip for those struggling with fires that require helicopters, build a small canal that's one shallow section and one deep, place a water pump on the shallow end and a water outlet at the deep end. Place these near fire hotspots and choppers have nearby water source.
LOL @ budget menu
If franklin square had a little more trees and a little less stores i would not mind living there at all.
personally i love it when i buildup a whole city then it gets destroyed and then i rebuild it it damn fun
i wish that after you completed a city you could start a new one with all the money you made
I know this is an old video but making the artificial lake is making the emergency helicopter AI think it's flooding which is why you are seeing so many helicopters in that area
Could you do the disaster scenarios?
