One eyed shield is pretty much just a gun meaning firearms exist in the elden ring world so there is potential for more firearms coming if theres ever a dlc
The stone shield that you get just before the 3 fingers actually does make bosses into jokes. Outside of life steal bitch and reducing your max hp just dodge grab attacks and depending on the boss change to the element type with Whitestone and with greatshield talisman and other defence boosting items bosses do less damager per hit than the little soldiers with daggers. Just got tired of the end boss so i put holy defense on it with great shield talisman along with halidrake plus 2 and the speckled ring copy and the physical great shield looking talisman with full ragahdan and just poked him to death while he delt like 10 damager per hit or less taking almost stamina from me. Elden beast took like 40 per holy attack. And I had like 1900 health too. Btw I was level 125.
One thing of note is that the Blade of Calling is the weapon Melina uses when you use her summon sign before Morgott

I started playing Elden ring when it came out. I’m still having trouble deciding what I wanna be in this game. But watching your videos is giving me a clear idea on how to enjoy this game even more. Its funny how everyone is acting like these weapons are new even though they have always been in the game and always been good, but everyone was too busy putting all their eggs into the stupid broken OP items that were obviously going to (and did) get nerfed.

Random question – If a weapon gets nerfed would you get the ancient smiting stone back? Fairly certain you wouldn't but there are only but so many in the game so hoping there would be a mechanic to return it if that happens
Gonna try get this. I'm still on first run about to uncover snowy area and double staff Mage but will get those in case of respect for NG+
Important to mention for the One-Eyed Shield: it is stupidly powerful! when i came across the NPC using it he was at a distance and i couldn´t fully see what he was wielding. suddenly i got hit by that motar and immediately lost 98% of my HP. i went down from 1680 HP down to 80 HP instantly after just one of his shots. so be very careful when facing this guy.

Really Advanced Weapons here , i would definitely say a Must atleast as a Back-up or Main Armament :
1- Raptor Talons Claw Weapon that can be Dual Wielded by 2handing it ( Deals Bonus Jump Attacks damage by 55% with R1 and R2's while Jumping ). So even when your on Torrent and pressing L3 to dismount while sprinted , attacking after lunging from Torrent does count as Jump Attack with the Bonus…. ( Very Highly effective Claws , has 60 Bleed and i High suggest equipping Bloodhound's Step for its Ashe of War Skill… With Bloodhound Step your gonna be like Wolverine plus the Raptor Talons can be buffed with Grease Buffs ).
2- Hand of Melania ( Best Katana in the game , altho very Late and needs 48 Dexterity to wield…. But it definitely pays off ).
3- Nagakiba ( Alternatively the best Katana in early game , prior to Hand of Melania ). The insane reach Nagakiba has plus the 45 Bleed , its also Customizeable via Ashes of War i recommend putting Unsheathe with Nagakiba as the Extra reach it has is very very Handy in all situations Excellent weapon to have and should be grabbed early on. ( Obtained via Blood Hunter Yura's questline , either Kill Yura or progress thru his Storyline later on to grab Nagakiba ). It's basically the older brother of Uchigatana with better overall damage and even Physical Defense… ( Note : with Nagakiba or Hand of Melania you can also 2hand guard with those 2 Massive Katanas , as they offer very good almost 50% Physical Damage Reduction while 2handed ).
4- Blackbow ( Best longbow in the game imo , the Blackbow is the only Longbow within Elden Ring that has the Shortbows extra Fire Rate mechanic… Meaning with Blackbow you shoot very fast with or while Jumping , Rolling while still shooting a shot again ). The Blackbow is also equipped with the Barrage Skill , making it the Strongest fast shooting longbow variant compared to the Shortbows… Plus Blackbow offers better Damage , Range and it looks pretty good. It's also the best longbow to have for inflicting Status Effects like Poison , Bleed , Rot , Sleep with the quick shooting arrows.
5- Elenorra's Poleblade ( Best Twinblade in the Game , offers really insane damage with Mixed Physical and Fire combo with its normal attacks…. It also is a unique weapon that is innately buffed with Bloodflame effect , Bloodflame is a Combo of Fire & Bleed into One ). Elenorra's Poleblade offers insane damage and Bleed ticks quickly , for it being a Twinblade your Combos are insanely fast with this Twinblade…. Ohh and this Twinblade has One of the best Skills and its a Unique Ashe of War called Blood Dance. ( I believe they did Fix the Arcane Scaling and Damage on Elenorra's Poleblade recently , with the 1.03 update on Elden Ring ).
6- Ballista ( One of the 2 Heavy Greatbolt weapons in the Game ). This thing is definitely a must for Back-up , as it offers insane damage with Legacy Dunegons , Catacombs or pretty much any Stronghold or tough places with tough Enemies and Bosses aswell…. The Ballista offers insane damage with Greatbolts but it does require 30 Strength , and you could skip 30 Strength and instead have just 20 Strength ( Since equipping the Ballista requires you have to 2 Hand it , and that counts 20 Strength to 30 Strength by default when 2 Handing weapons. ). The Ballista is a great range option when your out of FP , simply just grab and equip Greatbolts and Explosive Greatbolts… This thing hits like a Truck and with Explosive Greatbolts you can literally break stance all Giant type Enemies , and also insanely damage big Bosses too…. A must indeed and reloading the Ballista is quite better and Faster than the Jar Cannon which is pretty much the same. ( Ballista is pretty much the Bloodborne Cannon in which you could equip Explosive Greatbolts that wreck enemies apart ).
7- Wing of Astel ( An under Dog Curved Sword , i'd even say the Best INT based curved sword in the Game ). This weapon is a Unique Special weapon , despite the lesser damage it does compared to Moon Veil which is another insane Katana for INT Mage builds… However , just like the Natural Born Flail special weapon. This Curved Sword offers the same Skill called Nebula… And this Skill is very Deadly specialy in tight areas and closed places. ( Wing of Astel and Bastard's Star share the same unique Ashe of War or Skills basically ). But i suggest the Wing of Astel for being a swifter Curvedsword for attacking and its Charged Attack R2 also launches a light beam similar to the Great Moonblade.
8- Finally in terms of Greatswords i'd like to mention 2 here lastly. ( Darkmoon Greatsword , and the Wolf Blaidd's Royal Greatsword ). Those 2 Greatswords are the Best in my opinion , altho there are some pretty good other options like Morgott's Cursed Sword or Malakith's Blade and Starscourge Greatsword…. But thru testing i'd say Darkmoon Greatsword is very good for it being abit faster than the Royal Greatsword. ( But the Royal Greatsword is very Strong altho punishing at times of whiffs , however the Skill Wolf's Assault pays it off for being insanely Powerful and a great lunge attack that deals insane damage aswell ). Either options are great and viable for Heavy Builds… Enjoy and Goodluck guys 🔥
Note : The Blackbow is really a hidden treasure , and is hidden very well ontop of Lyndell's Royal Capital…. This Longbow is the only Bow in the game that has the Swiftness Rate of Firing just like the Shortbows. ( And the Blackbow offers more Damage , more Mobility and Range compared to the other Shortbows & Longbows despite the damage difference ). I'd say Blackbow is the Perfect overall Bow to have , as it makes all the Shortbows look funny and useless which it is lol. I personally have thrown away my Composite Bow just when i realised the Blackbow is better in terms of Everything and it does pay off for mostly Dex Builds and Quick Status Effect shots with different Arrows for sure. 💯

It’s nothing game breaking or anything, but I’m absolutely in love with the Warhawk Talon. I just think they look so cool. And it has a unique strong attack. And the dual wield moveset for straight swords is great.
If anyone runs halberbs the Dragon Halberd looks pretty good
