I'm not sure that Nyreen is anything other than DLC content, but she is a great companion and her legacy/family continues in Mass Effect: Andromeda. The initial start of ME:A starts between ME2 and ME3.

By the way, Brian George is the voice actor for Oleg Petrovsky. He was Babu Bhatt in Seinfeld and the father of Raj in 'The Big Bang Theory'.
This is my favourite DLC for ME3. I think I'm just locked in with Carrie-Ann Moss and Sumalee Montano as Nyreen. I have a soft spot for both of them and following their relationship is so frustrating! Nyreen is open about her feelings. Of course, Aria is not. Her inner turmoil will never be exposed. She won't let that happen. She's damaged goods. Nyreen didn't jump the shark, but she can't accept Aria's hard line command. I've played this DLC about 4-5 times now in different ways. There are quite a few different conversation options and it makes for interesting content. By the way, look for Aria's old couch. Marrot will be very happy!

This was definitely my favorite DLC well second favorite. Citadel DLC is my favorite and the Leviathan DLC is third. But I just love how dark the Omega DLC is.

I never liked Aria 😉 Although i did this mission on my first playthrough, i never did it again. Every time i replayed ME3, once i had acquired the mercenaries outfits as war resources, i just left her in her corner of Purgatory and kept her waiting forever. IMHO, the Leviathan DLC is far more interesting.
I'm assuming the actual gameplay is quite a few weeks in advance of the youtube publication, so, keeping it very much spoiler-less : at some point during Citadel DLC you'll be asked to chose a music (twice). Each of those has completely changes the next scene, and all variations are excellent / I'm quite sure you and everyone watching will appreciate seeing both 🙂
