Looks like a very boring game
If you playing for the story then play in story mode.
The bloody grab and eat you is so hard to time dodge. Literally within seconds of hitting the floor its his first attack on me

Oggdo Bogdo is much worse than Rancor for some reason
Love this game but like Fallen order : You always have dodge boss instead of fight them for real and that's annoying. Ok for Big boss like a Rancor but please…
His attackes are so random. And im getting grab and im sonfar away.

There is an easy way. You just need to climb back up and let it approach the ledge and then deal ranged damage
Use stick. Melts his HP.
Storymode is your friend.
Honestly, blaster stance made this very easy. Just hit it with charged shots, dodge all attacks and keep your distance, and refill ammo by attacking it after it misses the grab lunge.
You know you can lock its jaw with the bones lying around? Yes even when it's a red flash.
how they didnt shine the stomps as unblockables is beyond me
Real challenge here is the camera angle and frame drop😢
Obviously on the easiest level here so this is no use whatsoever to anyone

My cheese strat was to die to the rancor once then agro him, jump back up to the spot before you fell in the pit and just lightsaber throw at him until he died, took about 10 minutes.
its kinda like fighting a ruin guard
so trying to beat this guy right away is not tge way to go
There are bones on the ground. If you throw them at him it will get stuck in his mouth and gives you a window to hit. Only use the bones after a chrage or before one

Dude, you didn’t even throw the bones at it!!?? That’s the whole point of the bones lying around. Throw them when mouth is open

Did you literally say slow grab???
There is a really easy way to beat the rancor, it takes a little bit of time, but you take no damage.
Go into the pit, and have the rancor follow you, then jump up the platform and stand at the edge, the rancor should be now stuck looking at you and not being able to hit you with any of its attacks, now just lightsaber throw him to death and laugh over his dead body!

playing on the second to hardest difficulty this is the hardest boss fight of my life
Easiest way for me was to just hang back, wait for him to lunge in for a grab, dodge, attack and repeat
Took me at least 25 trys you use the double sided lightsaber. Maneuver around and use your blocks. But the most underrated thing to use is definitely the slow motion mode USE THAT!
Beast (wild life – a type of wild life you fight) related spoiler ahead : you can do 1000 IQ move with both times you fight spoilers – rancor in the cave. both times there is platform where you can stand on (have higher ground-lol) and just equip blasted and heavy saber and throw heavy saber and blaster Bolt at rancor… takes while but you can kill them both times like this (just lock on them first). tip you can use BD still to recover force (save some time) (it also workes with some other places aswell when you are fighting hard droids or enemy. you just need to find higher ground lol
