Kind’ve think some sort’ve Urza, Prince of Kroog deck in pioneer where it would be more interesting. Some sort of thopter/servo aggro deck that has the backup plan of melding if the game goes late?
Didn't watch any yet: I'm a little sad Seth didn't go kitchen top and run Urza, Academy Headmaster in the deck
Shadowsphere/Shadowspear
This felt more like Against the odds: Urza's Saga. Your meld combo felt like an after thought and the effort to be tribal for tribal sake made the existing core of Urza's Saga, Esper Sentinel, Karn, and Shadowspear feel much worse.
Would rather have seen a deck trying to use Urza as a lord with solid artifact creatures for beats and utility, followed by the meld combo for a big win con. Also missed opportunity not playing the new Urza themed counterspell Urza's Rebuff

Urza's Saga was a mistake.
I think I would have preferred Blue White Control with Urza as a finisher. Probably would have seen more melds that way.

Aaaaagainst the Odds time. Weeee are playing Urza's Saga and a bunch of bad cards to test whether you can win with Urza's Saga as your only good card.
In match 2, game 2, why couldn't you play the Urza's Saga into Alpine moon? It wouldn't be able to make the constructs, but Alpine Moon would make it tap for any color, effectively fixing your mana for the time being so you could play your Urza's.
if this was a true Urza deck it would be Tron-based 🙂
Urza's Saga is busted in commander, but that's not even close to the power level of it in modern. Looping them is just nuts.

Winning by sending giant robots via Urza's Saga is a valid option. Thats how Urza won most of his fights.

I was finally able to make a blue black deck that would use Tasha and the blue black exile top to their cards I get to choose one and then pay as much mana to use it… I don't know if covetous urge is something that I could actually play in the deck but

This deck could probably use Rest in Peace in the sideboard. The amount of graveyard-centric decks in modern makes it so these cards really don't go to waste.

I think the Dice Factory deck is the closest you get to full synergy with the power conduit and urza's saga and it's really hard to win with lol
