  5. The deal was old two years ago and it's NOT a fair question in any way at all. Australia has already invested over the last TEN years many billions in research to build domestic missiles in Australia and the DEAL THAT HAS been done is that the US has agreed to purchase Australian manufactured missiles, why do you get this information so mixed up and wrong?

  6. What a waste of taxpayer's money. When was the last time Aussie defense forces fired a shot in defense of Australia? 2WW at PNG. The tin can Collins class subs were a waste of money now we are buying nuclear subs. FFS

  7. Suggest you watch. Tucker Carlson interview retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor. "TUCKER CARLSON TALKS TO DOUGLAS MACGREGOR ABOUT THE UKRAINE WAR." On Youtube.

    1. Macgregor points out the tanks Australia has are the same as the U.S. Can be seen from space – that's how hot the engines run. The engines only need to touch one pipe in the engine bay – and the tank is out of action. That maybe Australia should look at the Rheinmatell KF-51 panther as a more modern tank – is what we should be doing.

    2. The precision munitions the U.S. had in the 1990's Russia and China and a lot of small countries also now own.

    3. Australia would not survive a week in a war in the pacific. As we have no defense even for conventional missiles that would take out our military "assets".

    4. Given we don't have much military kit – a week would about do it.

    5. So – if China took on Taiwan. Our bases would be hit. Our ships of planes would not get across the pacific for re-supply.

    6. That our military if we rely on the U.S. – you are sadly mistaken – the U.S. wont be even able to defend itself.

    7. Albo and Marles – run a paper tiger army.

    8. Are we in trouble. You betcha.
