Wilds of Eldraine Spoilers: Rats, Faeries, Black Virtue and is #MTGWOE the real CMR Masters? (Day 3)

It’s day three of Wilds of Eldraine spoilers. Black gets perhaps the best card in the set so far in the mythic enchantment adventure Virtue of Persistence, Rats and Faeires get some interesting new options and the power and value of the Enchanted Tales makes me wonder if Wilds of Eldraine is the real Commander Masters? Let’s discuss!

  1. to answer your question 8:22 " why sac something like brutal cathar " cause this give LIFE when its done….example : you have voice of the blesses with 5 tokens…your enemy has low life…u sac this creature , boom…you now have a 6/6 flying vigilance creature in play. another example , you SAC this , but u have a serra paragon and now you can bring it back to exile something stronger …

  2. Around twelve years old my parents went through a real rough divorce where we got uprooted and moved states and I lost basically everything I've ever known, friends, family, etc. I suffered through depression from then until fairly recently because of all of it, locking myself in my room all the time and drowning myself in video games and binge watching TV and YouTube. I went to therapy right around a year into the pandemic after a real rough few months and the guy was really genuine, called me on my shit, and pointed things out that I had never thought of, like a girl I dated in high school having been emotionally and sexually abusive. He eventually had to relocate to Indiana, but he told me in our last session that I was the only client he wasn't worried about. Been relatively normal ever since and I'm mostly able to handle everything myself without having too many issues. It gets better folks, just sometimes it takes a jumpstart from someone who knows what the hell theyre talking about lol.

  3. With Lord Skitter now also spoiled this is starting to look like "Bitterblossom: The Standard Season", theres so many permanents that make a token each turn. Wondering if maybe we will even get actual factual Bitterblossom spoiled soon.

  4. Extraordinary Journey is a safe Edgewall Innkeeper that also gives you draw off your opponent casting creatures from adventure. And anything blinking or the werewolf and werefox stealing their creatures and eventually giving them back draw you cards. Interesting card.

  5. Likeness Looter also has a weak bit of value in letting you “cast” a creature in your graveyard for generic mana. So you can be colour screwed, loot away your WUBRG creature and pay 5 whatever for it, just losing out on the ETB.

  6. Virtue of persistence feels like a cheatable card, any "exile spell, play a turn after" let you sheap out the card easily…Narset Trascendent for example would give it rebound, using the removal and getting the enchantment on the upkeep
