This is a re-make of 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. In the original, Telly Savalas was the mad man plotting to poison the world. Don't know which i prefer.
Wish they went back to some of the older movies which has happier endings
The movie is a parallel to on her majesty's secret service with the same songs, the one had me cry as a kid when he lost his wife.

It was brave of them to kill of his version of Bond but I really wish Ana de Armas was in this alot more.

Craig, who compares to Dalton, play Bond like a human, the others like the humanity as a whole.
A way Bond to lived here, is in ''You Only Live Twice'' novel. Bond doesn't know that has a child from Kissy, and is considered dead by MI6. They do his obituary here too, but he is not dead, he has amnesia.
At the end, when she and her daughter are driving away in the car, they should have had the earpiece make a noise, she pick it up, put it in her ear and James say "Hello my love" and then the movie end. That would have been perfect.
I agree with these two ladies. Amazing film, but its impossible for fans of Ian Fleming's work to love it. Why would they do this? To clear Bond out of the way for a woman to take over. That was the original idea, which Broccoli claims they scrapped, but they still kept the basic structure of the plan.

Best Bond movie ever. No more Daniel Craig. I'd like to see them erase the entire Bond canon and make them as period pieces and faithful adaptations of the original Fleming texts.

I cried in the cinema watching this. My favourite bond film is her majesty secret service and the director of this film also loved that one hence the same green aston dbs and louie Armstrong song, plus the line said by james "we have all the time in the world" which was something said by james or tracy in HMSS. As soon as i got home from the cinema having seen this i, watched HMSS and cried again it just hits you right in the heart.
This film is so emotional. No other Bond film has this much drama. OHMSS had a sad ending with Tracy getting killed by Blofeld at the end, but the love story of NTTD crossed over two films, with the relationship between James and Madeleine lasting through Spectre and NTTD, and was well developed. But this last Bond film also has some of the best action scenes as well. Daniel Craig really sold it. It was an emotional experience watching you guys break down in tears. ❤

well, i think its a reminiscence and a bow of the least mentioned but most liked Movie…. jjust with another ending.

I watched this movie at a time in my life whereby the ending ruined me, not because of Bond's ending, but because he was given hope for a normal life with a woman and child only to have it stolen. Some men in the world live by the same hopes, and that was tough to watch alone in a cinema
Daniel Craig is my all-time favorite Bond. I don't care what anyone's opinions are on the matter either. The guy brought a toughness, rawness and grit to the character that no other actor before brought. Not saying other Bonds weren't good, clearly not my stance. They all brought a style to the character, so not bagging on any of them. Just saying Craig's Bond was a refreshing take on a character that has, for the most part, remainded the same over the years. Plus, lets not forget that when Daniel Craig was announced as the next Bond after Brosnan, he wasn't received well initially. The documentary that came out before No Time To Die released highlighted how the tabloids really went after his looks and didn't think he was "polished" enough to play such a role. He was ruff around the edges, sure, but created a new image of Bond that just worked. His physical performance as a character came before the suit. Even though, Craig pulled off the suit exceptionally well. But remember Judy Dench as "M" in Casino Royale stating that she didn't think Bond was ready to be in the field because of his wrecklessness and rebellious nature? That was incorporated in the movie as callout to critics saying Craig wasn't refined enough for the role. Fifteen years later, his 5th and final movie comes out. Cementing his legacy as one of the greats. And the thing is, the ending is fitting for who his Bond was. He always felt "cursed" in a sense. Like everyone he has ever loved has either left him or died around him. It was a theme that carried throughout his character arc. In this movie though, instead of everyone dying, he made the ultimate sacrifice to ensure Madeleine and his daughter survived. That those he loved and cared for lived on. Not to mention, the millions he prevented from dying had he not made that sacrifice. He was, for all intents & purposes, being the Bond he was supposed to be… a hero in the end. So for me, Daniel Craig brought a realness to Bond we just haven't seen with previous renditions. A deeper version. He is thee Bond, in my eyes. Just my personal thoughts on the matter though.
(For the record, I have Connery second. But that might be because of nostalgia. No hate on other Bonds either.)
He redefined BOND, but Bind is over now, he knew that! Become too outdated n formulaic. The end began after The Bourne Movies, which were cooler n more realistic. There is NO current actor out there who can play the role, and how can they change it! Its Done!! Only a Jane Bond could revive it, and they'll never risk a woman or a black bond!😮
Don't worry, in the next movie Q will just add a flux capacitor in the Aston Martin as he tarvel Back In Time to save Bond ; )
You always have to stay for the end of the credits with the Bond films. This one was no different than the previous 24.
"James Bond Will Return"
Everyone will just look a little different (except maybe Ralph Fiennes).
The film is historical in killing Bond, something that has been unthinkable for the last 60 years. When I first saw it, I was shocked to the core, but now it makes sense to me more. First of all the Craig films are a separate timeline to all other films in the series. Second, it’s the only way that Bond has to end because he’s not created to be a husband and a father. He’s a loner that has lived a life on the edge all his life. He’s the savior of the western world. He’s an assassin who simply is the man who we all depend on to save us. And so he does here. He saves the world and thus his existence and duty is over and finished. Death is his peace.

2 years later and i still can’t believe they killed james f***ing Bond
Sorry to say. But least favorite Bond Film. Bond is about the exciting life of a spy. These Daniel Craig films got sidetracked when they made them very personal to Bond.
No Time To Die has one of the worst scripts ever for a Bond film. Many plot points don't make sense like Bond leaving Madeline in the beginning without even considering she didn't set him up or the circumstances leading up to Bond's death. The issue with making this movie is that they started with their ending (Bond must die) and worked backwards giving us this half-baked story. Because they ignored Bond's character development from Casino Royale to Spectre and killed him off makes the entire Craig story arc a waste of time. This is the first self-indulgent Bond movie ever made and it's good that it lost $100 million at the box office.
This was such a great end to the Craig era. Bold move to kill off Bond but it was a great way to end his run.
The other thing I like about this movie is it gave us the first woman agent to have the 007 designation, and clearly in this universe the "007" number is revered within the agency.
Ana de Armas has one scene and she owns it!
I’m sorry, but this movie was garbage, one of my most despised 007 films, along with Die Another Day. Killing off James Bond is one of the stupidest ideas in the history of cinema.

James Bond was not his real name. James Bond is an identity that the person takes on when he accepts to become 007. That is why each James Bond had their own persona and history, which did not affect the storyline or history of each new James Bond.
lol i thought this was one of the best ends ever especially for a bond & especially for an actors end of the story. usually the endings are so cheesy. well done M all M's fault….
There was a clue at the very beginning of the movie: no blood in the gun barrel sequence, because it's Bond who is shot, not the assassin.
If you guys ever actually watched the after credits scenes, you'd know Bond will return. This was just the last Bond of the Craig era. Who gets chosen next, has some enormous shoes to fill. Though I did hear unsubstantiated rumors that the next 007 will be female.
I had exactly the same reaction when I first saw this. This was quite the final swansong for DC. I still say it, he was Bond, he owned it. I really can't see anyone getting close to him. This was a horrible end to him. Great video from you.
