I live in South African so our seasons are at different months of the year (eg. September = Spring). Sun rise= East and temperature 🌡 in C°. We don't have consistent gardening youtubers in my country that I can relate to so i started my own channel hoping that people will comment with advice and guidance on my gardening journey. I hope one day I can have a garden like yours 😊

Have you guys done a video on how to sterilize seed starting trays? I feel like that is an important step that a lot of people miss when they go to start seeds!
Hi, this is off subject but I'm having issue with tiny orange ants that get into the flower bud of my melons and etc. The flower die off and turn brown. Their like sugar ants but nothing I've done seems to affect them. I haven't seen any aphids. Not sure what to do with these type of ants.
How about a 60’s mom cooking vegetables! If it didn’t come out of a can she would boil it to death in a pot on the stove! At least in the 90’s it was steamed. Good times 🤣

I have to plant in large bins, (the 200 lb feed buckets). I live in SW Oklahoma and the weather this summer has been awful. I list my tomatoes but peppers are doing good. I’ll try and plant a few of these this weekend! Thanks guys!!

I live in Southern California and like to watch Epic Gardening for tips! I will definitely try golden beets this year. Wondering if Romanesco is good to start now in our climate since they are kinda like broccoli and cauliflower. Are they hard to grow?I am also growing asparagus which I hope they are growing in their garden too and would like tips (do I cut the whole thing down in winter since we never get snow here, etc)

I used to love your videos because I felt I learned a lot, but now I have the feeling you just want to sell me stuff. Really getting bored of your merchandise push on the channel when some of the things recommended are not ideal (like cell tray for root crops, when it's known that root crops don't like being transplanted). Take the feedback, not everyone can afford your products.
I also hate Brussel sprouts unless they've been pickled or straight up raw sliced super super thin as a salad green
Watching you guys makes me think of the adult version of card trading 😊 only this is wayyy more fun. Ugh I love living in Colorado (zone 5a) but about the only thing we can plant in fall/winter is garlic.
If I remember correctly, you have a freeze dryer. Red beets are amazing cooked (in my instant pot), peeled, cubed and freeze dried. The golden beets are the best fresh cooked, but not so good freeze dried.

Airfry brussel sprouts with bacon😋
Adding a bit of white wine to normally bitter veggies, takes the bitterness away.
What area of San Diego do you guys live in?
70s moms used frozen Brussels sprouts and then boiled them–I also hated them. Like Jacques, I now roast them hot with olive oil, s & p, and finish if you like with lemon or balsamic vinegar, and they are delicious. Just don't pack them too tight on the pan, or they steam, and you develop a 90s Kevin's mom situation.

Pigeon Peas are a small tree. So, make sure they have room to grow and they will shade smaller plants. They are great Nitrogen fixers and we use them for soil improvement and chop and drop in Florida. Mine are about 6 months old and are around 6' tall.
What?? You can eat snapdragons?
Duh, i should have known. William, Paisley, LambChop and Betty White have beat me to it-I lined my driveway with those same Night and Day snaps along my fence and in spite of lining pasture side of my fence with mesh, either the sheep gingerly reach through or deer are getting from driveway side. Also – some aren't bicolored, but solid burgundy.

I'm confused…isn't it too early to start seeds that you plan to harvest in winter?? We're still at least a month away from "fall", which in SD is kinda the hottest time of the year….
