  1. Restore democracy with the will of the nigrien people. To restore Bazoum in power is a wrong move, because it will lead to constant resistance in all forms against him, france and the united states. The ecowas must also take the abject poverty in to consideration.A hungry man is a dangerous man,for his dignity to take care of his family, his very excistence is at risk. There is a difference between democracy in the west and in africa.

  2. The use of force should be taken off the table. The coupists have succeeded and a regime has been formed. The only thing ECOWAS and other countries can do is not to recognize the regime. Any use of force will distabilize the whole west African region which will be to the intererst of the western world.

  3. Millitary rule always destroy sustainable development. Constitution is the foundation of a nation. How can a disobedient person forced people to obey decrees.
Africa can only develop through democracy.

  6. Mr Tinubu put 30 million Nigeria youth in the military free application without the youth going through bribery to be employed,an Nigeria will have safety and can have the strength to support another Nation if need be but, but right now the nigeria army has face alot trying to fight bandits an terrorist an haven't been able to over come becus the number of bandit keep increasing,so Mr Tinubu increase the number of people to millions in the Nigeria military an see the good out come.

  7. What bothers me is the use of force. Tinubu is not the legitimate president of Nigeria. He rigged the 2023 election. We Nigerians did not vote for him. He stole the mandate. We're waiting for him to return the stolen mandate. ECOWAS please advise Tinubu to return the stolen mandate. If mot he will cause more harm to Nigerians and Nigeriens.

    Republic of Niger (Niger)

What I’m hearing, ….. and “SEEING” is that this is a legitimate popular uprising of/by the people!!!!

    Absolutely no invasion

The current military leader/leadership is to remain in place until the next general elections (approximately 6 months to one year beyond the next scheduled elections on the books)

Proceed in all due haste to establish a government of national unity – this being the interim political construct – until the next general election

The African Family of Nations and the many organizations are to respect and give all necessary support to the current Military Leader/Leadership in place and the forthcoming Government of National Unity – The Interim Administration – that is currently being constituted.

The safety, health and well-being of the deposed president; his family and associates must be assured. The deposed president and all others are to be released as soon as it is expedient to do so

This is one situation that is to galvanize the formation of the one Africa Security Apparatus

(Yes, Africa does need its’ own Judicial system. Start from scratch but lean on some pieces that are already there. This will be written about elsewhere).

This is a decision for the entire African nation/people not just ECOWAS. Unity on this is required.

The gas pipeline from Nigeria to Algeria/Morocco is to be completed and bring the projected/expected benefits.
