I don't really get why people have an issue with Ukraine using cluster munitions in Ukrainian territory. To me its up to them if they want to deal with the side effects, it's not like they are hitting Russian civilians with them. Also like some other video mentioned, the US cluster munition dud rate is so low and the number of mines and dud Russian cluster munitions now on the ground in Ukraine is so high the US cluster munitions will probably reduce the number of unexploded bombs if anything.

IT is scary… ~ in a very exotic, yet horrific way. THOSE bomblets in the BOMBS, themselves. OH no.. Those are move valuable, via a DRONE bomb. AS the weight of these, are significantly lower, than homemade bombs. AND are HEAT rounds. Which are something of the NASTY varient. A drone, can carry amount of these, and just drop them life normal. These, eat up roofs of ARMOR like hot knife through butter.
Let alone, just tape them to the head of the Drone.. NOW you have a $300 Cruise missile, that is a 1 hitter quitter, on 90% of all of Russias light gear. Almost 500 bomblets, from 1x BOMB..
I also oppose the use of these cruel weapons on someone elses sovereignty, however, Ukraine will be using them on their own territory, and will ultimately pay the price in future civilian deaths and the clean up costs that are present with using such weapons. So in my opinion, it's their decision, if Russia doesn't want to be cluster bombed, perhaps they should stick to their own land.

The "land bridge" to Crimea is through Donetsk, southern Zaporizhzhia and Kherson. The area highlighted in the video is the Kerch Bridge, which is an actual bridge, made of metal and concrete.
The west needs to stop insisting that weapons provided not be used in Russia. They need to take the gloves off, so that Ukraine can really put the screws to the Russians.

First, no matter how many times you make sure to mention zomgz! iLlEgAL! of Biden to transfer the munitions to Ukraine, I do not and will not care. It's the ethical and moral decision. They need 'em, we won't be using them.
Two points:
1. The Western allies clutching their pearls over these weapons have been hamstringing Ukraine from the beginning, out of fear of the big boogeyman Russia. Thus, they have not been given what they need, in the quantities they need, with the guarantees they need, WITHOUT stipulations like not striking their invader's home soil to get at airfields and supply depots. It may well not have been needed now, if they had been getting what they needed all along. Those protesting can up their budgets to meet NATO's requirements and provide Ukraine what it needs, then.
2. I never hear mention of how Russia has absolutely blanketed Ukraine in mines from the anti-cluster munitions side. A bomb is a bomb. The countryside is covered in unexploded munitions already. The Ukrainians can't have their heads in the sand on this like Westerners who've never been in a war zone, let alone had their home become one, can. Thus, the 1.5% unexploded duds are irrelevant. They're already going to need to clear the countryside. Better they be able to do it as free Ukrainian citizens, than oppressed under the Russian boot. I'll wait to see if any of those nations will be beating the US' supply of engineering equipment to clear mines and other munitions.
Rather than the vague undertone of moralizing that Ukraine shouldn't upset these ignorant and hypocritical allies and just do what they say, wow would I more like to hear these allies should put up or shut up, or maybe focus that energy on the invader, instead of the ones defending their homes and their families.

It’s easy to choose to use cluster munitions on your rivals territory. It’s a much harder choice to use them on your own land and potentially killing your own citizens. Ukraine knows the risks and have decided it is vital to their survival. Also don’t forget, most civilians on the frontline have already left.
In the case of Ukraine, it would be very dumb to be against clusterammunition or gereraly any non-weapon of massdestruction like white phosphor or chemical weapons (VX, etc) with the argumente of civilian casualties, because Russia is using these weapons already in Ukraine, targeting intentionally civilians.
Obviously its dangerous. Wait until Someone gets a hold on it and uses it on the city of KIEV at civilians. What seem to work for you will work against you…… Just like the Atomic Bombs….. SO DON'T THINK YOU WIN (US and UKRAINE)…. YOU WILL sooner or later see how it goes against you…

Russia is already using them in Ukraine…. If Ukraine wants to also use them why would NATO Allies care? There will need to be mine sweeping and cluster-bombshell sweeping for decades after this war. Wars are terrible but Russia didn’t give anyone a choice so beating them will discourage others from attempting there own war of aggression.
