  2. Shadowheart is a rogue, she is a cleric rogue class. Ast main problem has always been he is useless, because everyone else is better addition to the team, even if you want a party without Shadowheart and Ast, taking the urchin background give you sleight of hand and with 8 dex you can be the teams thief. It is going to hurt more being without guidance than Ast.

For anyone else watching along or for their own playthrough having trouble with Astarion being Astarion Shadowheart is a Trickster domain Cleric and can cover some Rogue abilities Pass without Trace a lvl 2 domain spell is a group wide stealth buff, very useful for sneaking around and getting ambushes to work. Otherwise your character, a companion respeced or a hireling can cover lockpicking and trap disarming via Sleight of Hand proficiency so make sure somebody in your party has that.

  5. why do what others tell you to do? i know for a fact you dont NEED it and you wont miss it either, even if for some reason you have "missed" it. just let him play the game XD this is no 1980 MS-DOS game where you cant complete the game when you missed the key to the bossroom in level 1
