➜ NBC, E!, and Bravo Litigation Hold. Attorneys for several reality tv “stars” (personalities?) are threatening to sue Bravo Media, E!, and CNBC (all owned by NBCUniversal) over a “pattern and practice of grotesque and depraved mistreatment of the reality stars and crewmembers on whose account its coffers swell.” Let’s review the litigation hold letter & discuss where things might go from here.
➜ State of Idaho v. Bryan C. Kohberger. Bryan Kohberger filed an opposition with the Court that his attorney asserts clears up his alibi claim…so what is it?
➜ Lizzo’s Sued. Three of Lizzo’s former backup dancers have filed suit against Lizzo & her entertainment company in Los Angeles Superior Court for creating a hostile work environment (among other things).

I watched the live stream last night. I rarely participate in chat due to the sheer number of people. It gives me opportunity to listen and think about what I hear.
The koburger case is one that's been hard to follow, but is facinating none the less.
It's a curious one because his education included studing criminal justice. Wouldn't that be an edge in knowing to present the idea that driving around as a habit as a defense strategy?
I have wondered if he's found guilty, if the motivation was an attempt to commit the perfect murder for the purpose of understanding the criminal mind. I have wondered and keep comming back to that theory.
In the Lizzo alligations, I hope it goes to trial. I agreed with Ian, it's no different than what men have been accused of in the entertainment industry.
That's another reason I hope this goes to trial. The message being anyone is capable of being a crappy person behind the scenes.
Random knowledge: Surprise costume fittings is a common way to catch performers who have been avoiding mandated weigh ins. It's a cost issue. Custom costumes are expensive and time consuming to create. I'd bet anything there was a weight clause in the contract for that purpose. It's not necessarily a "fatphobic" issue.

if the state has such a solid case and with "mountains of evidence against BK", why arent they turning over everything?
I thought they wants to hang BK ASAP? the state has behaved extremely shady and makes me lean toward BK more and more😒
Rob and Ian point out that the state is supposed to protect the accused's rights and not drag things out to put pressure on the speedy trial right, etc. I find it sad that even though the system has taken steps to enforce this (prosecution has to turn over exonerating evidence, for example) it still lets the cops lie during interrogations, maybe with a caveat that the lie shouldn't shock the conscience, whatever that means.

Australian Big Brother showed a contestant “running one out” on their live “After Dark” show that was referred to daily for weeks and weeks on their other shows in earlier timeslots.
Yep it’s already happened. So to say ‘of course they won’t show that’ …. Australia did that 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I think this Bravo Lawsuit is about Nick and Danielle from Love is Blind I believe. Nick has a podcast and has been making these allegations for quite some time. Although I am not sure that Love is Blind is associated with Bravo as it's a Netflix show I thought. He has been starting a Reality show union I believe
Hey Rob, I think you read the Lizzo allegations a little wrong.
To me it reads that the "relationship with management" is literal in meaning.
The beforehand mentioned allegations are against Lizzo personally, and not the management in general.
So the relationship "became strained" with general management only after the money thing is imo the right way to phrase that.

On a more serious note. Talking from experience. If your employer doesn't see you as valuable if you don't want to participate in activities (that also is very inappropriate) after work you should quit. That employer is unprofessional and is not respecting your boundaries. Thats is a form of gaslighting and what I think the employee realiced and want to make sure never happens again.
If I want to go to my job, do the work and then go home at the end of the day you should not be punished for that. Not everyone want to spend more time with coworkers than necessary.

If there's a trial they just gotta play their newest tmz interview and it's case dismissed. We felt like we have to be fun and go along with everything bc the ones who got along well with her got to go on the private jet and on tropical vacations.

After listening to people who have been on reality shows talk about the mental health pre-screening it seems in many cases those are just to get information on how to trigger you. A couple people who were on America's next top model out right said they failed the evaluation but were put on the show anyway.

I had a bullying line manager. I explained to HR that there were facts and there were feelings: this was the unacceptable conduct and this is how that conduct made me feel. I was asked did I want a personal apology? I said 'no' I just wanted it to stop. It stopped and the manager chose to leave. Not a money issue in my case : just conduct that was adversely affecting my health.
A lot of this over the bravo ect ect suit, probably deal with the Duggars. Where the kids were on TV all the time and supposedly did not get paid
3:22 – thank you Runkle! “They’re basically the same thing”. I’ve been struggling to see a need to to imagine Lizzo as a male employer. Gender doesn’t change the impact, inappropriateness or illegality of the behaviour
I think a lot of the nuance in the Lizzo complaint revolves around tone of voice and body language when the conversations took place. "Dismissively offered time off for therapy" can be a sarcastic tone, with the clear message that this would not be a good idea.
Anyone who's been in an abusive relationship knows how words that sound like offers of help are exactly the opposite.

This Kohberger case… I am torn between thinking he did it just for the mindgames and thinking he might be just such a perfect scapegoat for the real culprit to set up… I can't wait for the trial and all the real facts.
I was actually more on Lizzo‘s side until I heard her Response. That one specific sentence that says “I’m hurt, but I will not let the good work. I’ve done be overshadowed by this.” That particular sentence had so much of the same ‘flavor’ that my daughters abusive, ex-boyfriend spouted when she fled to a shelter, and he was trying to find her/get her back by claiming all of those good things about himself. Lizzo is absolutely innocent until proven otherwise and I could equally see this being a ploy for money, so I will wait to make any final thoughts. It was just that one phrasing that did sound sort of like gaslighting.
Replay crew: this does not surprise me at all. Lizzo used to sexually harass Chris Evans on Twitter. Some of the things she would say to him made me really uncomfortable. He handled it gracefully, but it made me feel icky. I always thought if she were a man and CE was a woman, people would have been losing their minds.
I’m with Ian about Crazy Horse. I had no clue what that was until EDB went through this lawsuit. I would not have known what to expect unless someone filled me in ahead of time. I’ve lived a very sheltered life. 😂

I’m a little confused with the BK alibi. Why would his attorney state that more explanation could be given to the judge? What is the purpose of that statement? Also, is the defense struggling to get all evidence from the DA or am I incorrect about this? If that is the case, why? Doesn’t that lead to a Brady violation? Thank you for your help!
