  1. they needed SCALING, better AI, better elite 4 teams, worst champion, and, make every team full 6 Pokemon teams for gym leaders, and no forced refighting part of the story just have better fights

  2. The games are lacking in every aspect a game has. Graphics, performance, features, story and so on. Other franchises or indies would be called "asset-flip" or "cash-grab". So there is no reason to tolerate it for pokemon.
Now I am not saying, that you should pirate the games, seeing how dumb easy it is due to the low power of the switch and existence of emulation, but if I was a more sane person, I would probably encourage everyone to do so. Hypothetically.

  3. I see Game Freak is no longer content with making new wack designs. They have to go back and bastardize the older ones too.

You either die a tiger or live long enough to see yourself become a giraffe :v

  4. Honestly Ed, this was a disappointing video and a disgrace to the usual standards of your news offerings. On multiple pages you blatantly refused to actually read the information and gave an opinion based on your own creation from the headlines alone, which in turn led you to giving out wrong information that is not even on the page or the page has details different from what you claimed it to be.

    Notable Points:
Mass Outbreak Page: Mass Outbreaks come out with the DLC patch, but are not part of the DLC. Never even got to the part of Marks and Ribbons since you never scrolled down.
League Club Page: Glossed over the being able to customize a room as a nothin feature, usually games you cover get a lot better reception from you for such features.
Blueberry Academy Elite Four Page: The rant on what you thought it was lasted longer than your coverage of what it actually was, because being bothered to read first was ignored, you did catch it though which is of some credit.
New Ways to Play Page: The balloon popping isn't a race here or even the main objective, it's a variation on the game of "Kick the Can" essentially. You collect berries and bring them back to a point while preventing pokemon from taking your berries from your "base/stash" it seems very much designed as a multiplayer game. In the Photos section, they expanded the features of the photo mode, not added photo mode in the first place like your coverage claims, they added more zoom out, more control over your pokemon in the scene, and an in game feature to just share the screenshot one person takes with the rest of the team.

I get that not all the news you cover excites you in the same way, but such a disingenuous effort is a blemish on your generally good and thorough coverage of news in the monster taming space. Won't ask you to sound excited, but dismissive and annoyed felt wrong. I hope your next video is a return to form.

Side Note: For Terapagos, we have indeed seen both forms before, but we have not known they were "forms" and not a pre-evo/evo setup closer to Kubfu/Urshifu or Cosmog/Solgaleo & Lunala. The news there is they are "forms" not a "line".

  5. Raikou is more based on Nue then Kirin (Suicune is the Kirin one), and I don't know who thought Mutant Longneck Dinosaur was a good idea for it but Gamefreak should dock their pay.

  6. Huge agree about the future forms. I don't find mechanical forms inherently bad, but when you make every single one mechanical it kinda ruins the surprise of what it might look like. There really should be some future forms that are just further evolved versions of older mons.

  7. I'm looking for the new DLC and new Pokemon to catch! SV is still my favorite games, I think we will have Paradox Entei and Paradox Terrakion next after the DLC as well.

  8. This is not directed at Ed or anyone in particular but I'm confused about The Raikou form. Do people not kniw anything about dinosaurs? From ostriches to giraffes to brontosauruses (as well as technically all snakes) , do you have any idea how many dinos/animals have elongated necks? No disrespect intended but have you been living in a box all your life? Have you ever read a book before? Whether you believe dinos to be fact or fiction, your school system has failed you.

  9. 4:13 you got this wrong Ed the blueberry academy have a different set of elite fours which you can battle them. In the base game you can’t rematch the gym leaders but you can rematch the elite four (at least this is what I read I don’t own SV)

  10. I honestly miss 3rd versions to Pokemon games. For the price of the DLC, my memory of Isle of Armor/Crown Tundra isn't great. When I completed Isle of Armor my genuine thought was "Is this it?" There was barely any story (Crown Tundra was a lot better, but still short.) It's a lot to charge for content unleashed in two waves, both of which you can complete in an evening. Giving us new pokemon to hunt in new areas is cool, but I like to get really immersed in a game's plot. It took me over a week to finish Scarlet's main adventure simply because I loved exploring and engaging with the NPCs and story, so imo they need to really deliver with that price tag. I'm waiting this out to see if I think it's worth it.

  11. I actually kinda like Raging Bolt tbh. The tiny clip we saw in-game isn't great, I'll admit, and I wish they changed its face cause as is its still very clearly the face of a feline, but I think the official art for it with the cloud bit wrapped around its face looks infinitely better.
Also, I think its based on either a brachiosaur or a brontosaur (Or both), with the latter literally meaning "Thunder lizard," which is pretty clever imo.

  12. It's like "Here's our yearly rushed game that doesn't have much post-game content. And by the way, here's a DLC to fill that post-game content void you're rightfully feeling. You're welcome. 🙂" Yeah, that leaves a bad taste in my mouth as well. Like they're selling the solution to a problem they created themselves, in the first place.
