No Coach Carter or Southpaw is tough
MJ is still the GOAT
Airbud is Mid
I Love it gentlemen!
No League of their Own, no Longest Yard, no Necessary Roughness, no Replacements, no Rollerball – and the biggest failure to make the list…. No Men With Brooms. Funniest movie about curling you will ever see!!!
You are missing the best baseball movies. No sandlot or money ball.
No Slapshot?!
Breaking Away (5 Academy Award nominations, won for original script) MUST be in the bracket.
No Sandlot?!
The Replacements!
Angels in the Outfield/Major League vs Rookie of the Year would have been a interesting matchup
Sandlot, Longest Yard, A league of their own, The program, Greatest Game ever played. When y'all were talking about friday night lights, I thought you were talking about Varsity Blues. I was like how??? Friday night Lights was a great book.
“Strong side! Left side! Y’all be trippin
Saying it's a fist fight right now is crazy
What about The Sandlot? I got a lot of problems with these picks…
What about Chariots of Fire
My personal favorite…Eight Men Out
Baseball and conspiracy, as well as being one of the few "dead ball era" Baseball movies ever made
Main complaints – Angels isn’t even the best mid-90s baseball movie. See: Little Big League. Varsity Blues > Friday Night Lights. The Replacements > Any Given Sunday. Tin Cup or Greatest Game Ever Played shouldn’t been on it. Finally it’s kinda absurd FNL beat out Hoosiers AND Rocky.
Major League losing to Angels in the Outfield was a travesty!
Hoosiers losing to Friday Night Lights??? Are you kidding me?
Field of Dreams is the best sports movie of all time! you guys are wrong!!!!!
I must say I'm very disappointed the sandlot wasn't in here.
FNL is phenomenal movie, great football, great script inspired by true stories. It truly captures the many personalities that make up a football team as well the struggles that are faced by many young men on a football team and the perseverance that is required to get out of a small town where there’s not opportunity for you in the future.
Lol imagine thinking ben knows anything about sports.
Where was 42 and Pride of the Yankees?
They didn't call Rudy Offsides but they give a pass to Friday NIght Lights.
How did coach Carter and sandlot not make the list???? Travesty
How was Longest Yard not mentioned? The whole premise of the movie is it’s the prisoners vs. guards in football and if the prisoners win they get their freedom.
The idea that you gentlemen didn't even consider "The Sandlot" is absolutely incredible to me.
Rudy is my favorite simply because I was raised as a Catholic and Notre Dame was the ONLY college football team. And I'm so old they were still legitimately called the Fighting Irish back then, which meant they were a really good team with a great battle song. There were a lot of good movies to choose from though, and I loved Hoosiers too. A lot of these I never saw.
Sandlot!?????!!
Friday Night Lights won this with clear eyes and full hearts
Miracle on Ice and Remember The Titans.
The White Sox have been rebuilding since the Black Sox
Also, as a side note, I think it would be so fun to just debate sports on this show.
What about Dodgeball? and the basketball sequence in Cable Guy? And the boxing in Pulp Fiction?
Vince Vaughn wasn't the QB in Rudy. He was the cocky RB that got demoted to 3rd string. He threw the ball on a RB pass.
Miracle is the greatest sports movie of all time. Sorry but it's not a contest
How could you forgot MVP: Most Valuable Primate?! Jokes aside, Miracle is one of the best sports movies there is
"Hoosier (Who's your) winner?" ………Uh, Hoosiers, of course.
Where was the Sandlot?
Where was Pistol Pete
Field of Dreams and just because the ending is so good
I think "Greatest Game Ever Played" should have made the golf section. I think it was a great film.
Great video but way too many movies left out! Like Ben’s idea of doing just a baseball, football, boxing, golf, etc. Leave the silly movies like Space Jam out. Again agree with Ben on this one, terrible movie! The Miracle on Ice is the greatest sporting event of all time and even the the movie was great, being a baseball fan and a father of five, Field of Dreams is my favorite sports movie and one of my overall favorite movies.
Where is "Radio", "Longest Yard", & "42"?
You lost all respectability as soon as Angels in the Outfield beat out Major League.
Would definitely watch the sport specific rankings with these guys.
The fact that Ben gave 61 it's due is awesome. One of the greatest original Sports movies ever. But field of dreams is not better than 61.
What happened to Jake tho? Im out of the loop. He lost a ton of weight.
