Honestly I agree with your opinion on games dropping numbers
It’s easier to follow when it has the numbers there so you know which one comes when
I can understand adding to the title though but they don’t have to get rid of the numbers
Metal gear Solid is a good example
The main games have numbers while adding to the titles, and even though you have peace walker and rising, those games are spin offs so they don’t matter as much as the main line games
Mod support is the best thing that has happened to halo

I have nothing but respect and appreciation for the mod creators, this is seriously such a great mod and it's well done. But damn it's hard to look passed the voice acting. lol But it kind of gives me a good laugh so it's still positive. I definitely could not do better. By all means, keep at it I respect the efforts.
The biggest flaw in this is something Marty o’donnel talked about, where the music only comes on when it needs to, to make it a standout moment. In this mod, at least in the desert section the ark theme goes on wayyy too long.

Halo 3 has a bit too much bloom but yeah very good artstyle it's hard carried by how lively the colours are, otherwise the textures are quite low resolution and it can look quite ugly at times

There's so much content potential for MCC, it's actually insane 343 isn't utilizing it. 343 should follow the Bethesda route. A store with premium mods that can be bought, such as the campaign you're playing now, then free mods approved by 343, which would allow MCC to get monetized, modders to get paid for their work, and console gets access to mods free or not.
I'd love to see MCC get some kind of revenue stream. Imagine having H3 Marines or other characters added to ODST, or Firefight for CE/2/3/4? Halo 4 could have such a sick generator defense style gamemode with the already existing Flood model, or even Infection style invasion. Imagine fighting off a horde of Flood with blue prometheans at your back!
They really need to update those voices… deepfake tech can do the job easily

The voices are cursed and the introduction of chief was very underwhelming and I doubt the elites would randomly feel like betraying each other. I feel the flood just needs to fuck off for a good while after after halo 3 at least in bungie halo
The brute shot is so cool, they should have kept it, and never made the shock weapons
