‘There’s children right now with their dads missing’: Former soldier on Taipan crash

Liberal National Party MP and former infantry soldier Phillip Thompson says children have their “dads missing” as the search continues for the soldiers who were onboard a helicopter which crashed during Talisman Sabre military drills.

“There’s children right now with their dads missing, there’s mums with sons missing, there’s wives whose husbands are missing,” he told Sky News Australia.

“Our friends that we know, who know them, are out there right now searching for them.

“The ADF is a wide family, a big family, but right now we’ve got our people out there searching for them.”

  1. What a load of sychophantic garbage.
If any of these free-market goons cared about children then they wouldn't be forcing Australians into poverty.
Look at the shameful ads for charities.
    We're disgusting people.

  2. Russian Mi-8M are far superior in performance and maintenance simplicity to Western Widomaker counterparts. In Afghanistan the coalition gave up teaching the locals Western choppers and went back to Russian. Like a AK47, or RPG7, pretty simple, unbelievably rugged.

  3. Thus why the vast majority of Japanese Kamikazi pilots were between the ages of 17 to 22 years old. Add the Germans to that and you have to expect such considerations to go out the window. Evil + Evil
