  1. Not to be weird or inappropriate but this woman is such a natural beauty 🥰 Sister, just your hair alone would make me fall in love 😂 Dude, count your blessings my friend 😉 If you haven’t, she’s the one you marry bro.

  2. There is a video of a live version in Paris. It's intense. That was in 1970! In Ozzie's intro. to the song, he tells the audience, "this is a new song called "War Pigs" (paraphrased). It was the height of the Vietnam War, but from what I read about the song, and this beautiful video it's really about what the UK went through during WWII. Sabbath are the OG's of Metal. I was 9 when this came out. The 60's and 70's, for many teenagers, were just one decade!

  3. Honestly, I think you get more out of Sabbath, Zep, Deep Purple and that ilk, if you listen to it without videos. This music was all recorded without videos and I think it portrays emotion better. If I see a video, I feel like I am being guided to experience something. When I don't watch the video, I am more free to experience what I will.

  4. Greatest war protest song ever and probably still relevant in 200 years. Glad you did the studio version first. The melodic part at the end of the song is sooo epic. "Faith No More" actually covered that song on their album "The Real Thing" and they have a great live version "Live at Brixton Academy". Maybe you'll check that out some other time ;o).

  5. Just found your chanel and enjoying your reactions! Since you working out you neeeed to check out a swedish band named Meshuggah! The only song you need in your workout playlist is their song Bleed. Live version ofc and specially the drum cam version because the drums are a big thing in this song! When I work out I put this one on repeat 😂 It's a heavy song so put the seatbelts on. Rock on!

  6. I don’t think people realize the bands that came over from England like Sabbath, the Who, Pink Floyd, the Stone and even the Beatles. They grew up in the shadow of WWII if they didn’t live through the Bombings they lived through the devastation that the war brought in their country and that more than anything I think influenced their sound and all the great music of the 60’s and 70’s

  7. This is one of drummer Bill Ward's best songs. The drum fills on them toms are phenomenal. Also more great guitar riffs from the master Tony Iommi. This song appeared on the Paranoid album from 1970 too.

  8. The title was changed from War Pigs to Paranoid to avoid backlash from the pro Vietnam War backers.
Look at the Album cover. That looks like a War Pig.
The record executives decided not to change the photo. Money!!!!!!

  9. HA!!! Loved the “stank face” during the solos. Ozzy’s singing definitely evolved over the various albums they did. His early vocals ( Ironman, for example ) were kinda rudimentary. Love watching your journey into the music that I grew up with. I am of a certain “vintage” that still gets chills when I hear air raid sirens.

Can’t wait until you make your way to “Mr. Crowley” live (WAAAY more mind blowing than the studio version). Loved the vid. Keep at it.

  10. This was a pretty much an anti -war song. Mostly referring the Vietnam war. People were afraid of Ozzy after it came out. The FBI and MI6 had files on him because they were afraid he was going to organize protest problems so they wanted to know exactly what he was up to all the time. So stupid. Everyone has there own opinion. No one cared for that war and believe we didn't belong being involved. Worst part was the way the vets were treated afterwards. I know a bunch of them and they were treated terrible when they came home and still today. They have been treated like shit. I love my country and so do they. We as Americans should be absolutely ashamed of ourselves for treating them as we did. Great music though.

  11. In 1967, Pete Townsend (towns end) from the WHO, was bragging to Paul McCartney from the Beatles about how he just wrote the biggest, loudest, and heaviest song ever, and it was going to knock the Beatles out of the water. McCartney, not scared, but intrigued, started writing his response. HELTER SKELTER was the result and named the 1st heavy metal song. Black Sabbath came a year later, being the first Heavy Metal group. They revolutionized the dark, "Satanic Panic", edge that spilled over from Led Zeppelin, and into ACDC.
