Don't they make a snorkel float seem to remember seeing this in Florida? Basically an inflation ring with a hose to extend your depth
You need to design a belt with pouches to put rocks in and a tube with a floating device to attach to your snorkel.

Something about this seems fake to me it's rare to find such a huge amount of gold a day!!!
You missed alot of them tiny bits of gold . You have gold mining in other countries like Thailand mining for 10 hrs to only find 2 grams if they are lucky .
Isn't there some sort of stipulation with gold hunting in Australia? Like if you find gold it belongs to the government, and you aren't supposed to profit off of it or something?
