  1. Colorado to the Big 12? I’m surprised but it makes sense. CU will get fewer players from California but more from Texas, Florida and the Midwest.

  2. Hey sometimes the marriage is better the second time around 😉. CU moving to the Big 12 is a good thing for the university. CU needs a conference that’s more proactive than reactive and the Big 12 fills that need. As the saying goes, nothing changes if nothing changes so if CU remains in the PAC12 it would continue to be SNAFU.

  3. This is going to be huge for recruiting people, because these athletes know that we will be playing games in Texas were their parents can come to the games. He will be unstoppable. If they win at least 6 games and go to a bowl game, it's over. He will build a unstoppable program.

  4. Wow!! 31 million. More than CP’s five year deal.
Here we go- 1) extend CP’s contract, 2) Bring back baseball and wrestling, 3) add softball and men’s/women’s Ice Hockey.
Go Buffs from Class of ‘75.

  6. Really feel like Deion will make Colorado his home and try to build a powerhouse. If he wins this year it's ova wit for other teams and coaches kno it.. Prime is a man of himself not a follower, he is the face the brand, can't see him somewhere else an being just another great coach at a Clemson, fsu, etc he creates his own wave/change.. just my opinion

  7. Look what Coach Prime has done in the first 6 months, they will have and make more money TV wise on this deal, plus the Pac12 is going downhill real quick USC and UCLA is abandoning ship to the B1G where Oregon might end up as well.

  8. While the name of the Big 12 may not have changed, so much has changed on teams and leadership, they are basically a different conference than CU left around a decade ago.
