OH ELDEN RING! It’s finally here. I’m 70 hours deep and completely obssessed. The Elden Ring bosses are phenomenal and as tough as the series has ever had. Today I’ll be ranking the easiest Elden Ring bosses and the some of the hardest Elden Ring bosses in part 1 of 2. Last time we ranked Elden Ring bosses including Godrick the Grafted, Rennala Queen of the Full Moon, Regal Ancestor Spirit, Sir Gideon Offnir the All Knowing, Fire Giant, Red Wolf of Radagon, Magma Wyrm Makar, Leonine Misbegotten, Tree Sentinel (Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree), Flying Dragon Agheel, Dragonkin Solider, Commander Niall, and a whole lot more!

Today we get to rank some wild battles like Malenia, Goddess of Rot, Maliketh the Black Blade, Dragonlord Placidusax, Mogh Lord of Blood, Margit the Fell, Morgott the Fell Omen, Starscourge Radahn, Godskin Duo, and plenty more. Mini-boss ranking soon to follow later this week!

  1. Stumbled upon this list after having defeated all but one bosses and I'm baffled at how much I agree on your ranking. I guess our playstyles are very similar. I absolutely despise mixups in games like these, it just adds so much to the trial and error and they included 2 in Margit – the first real boss players face. They're not kidding around when it comes to bloated difficulty.

Malenia however definitely takes the cake. This is the first and only boss in the entire game where I just told myself "whatever, leave this one be" after 45(!) attempts. Fighting her just felt like she was pushed beyond what I am capable of achieving, and it is an exhausting unrewarding chore to continue trying. Despite being mostly fair in design I doubt even Zeus could get those timing windows down on her flurry attack.

  2. i beat Mohg nearly first try the first time i found him, maybe i was overleveled, i found him right before the final boss so that could be why. Morgott the omen King i died a lot to, but i died more to Godfrey the First Elden Lord (not the ghost of him, the real boss of him and more so his 2nd phase) this game is so legendary though, i love it

  3. Fuck Malenia. If Fromsoft wanted to add a boss that had a special move that stole health (even for a limited time) I would have less of a problem. But a boss that steals health on every hit including kicks? No! That is bullshit! We the players are stuck in Darksouls Speed while she is playing Bloodborne!

There are hard bosses like Orphan or Midir, but then there are straight up horseshit bosses like Malenia who can steal 2 of your hits worth of life with 1 hit of her own while having blistering speed and recovery.

Could have been one of the greatest bosses in Bloodsouls history if not for that broken recovery mechanic. Keep the stupid anime move, I want that life steal gone, or at least halfed!

  4. The quality of the hard bosses ranges so wildly in this game. On one hand, you have greats like Radagon, Malenia, and Margit. On the other hand, you have badly designed misery fests like Radahn, Elden Beast, and Godskin Duo.

  5. the problem with this game is that it is available on too many platforms. should make it exclusive on ps5 and x box at most. when you make this kind of game available on PC. The codes will be manipulated so much like dark soul 3.

  6. Its interesting to see the godskin apostle duo at #2, placidux and Godfrey would be my two and three, the thundercloud and zangief super cycle fucked me way more than those enemies whose movesets we’ve learned many times over

  7. I just genuinely do not agree with the godskin duo in spot number two. I killed them first try due to my level and on top of that they really don't have a incredibly difficult move set.
Also are you aware you can remove your red square debuff homie? It removes 5% of your max health. It definitely is not worth the increase in pose.

  8. My main issue with Godskin Duo is that they literally just hug each others asses the entire fight UNLESS you use a summon or have co op help, they do not leave each other's side for a second and there's literally no window to get in without getting demolished.

  9. With my sheer commitment to exploration I've found its actually fairly easy to get +6(somber) before Margit and possible to get +9 so I struggled very little even on my first playthrough only dying to the top 3 bosses on this list, I don't say this as a flex just that exploration is very heavily favored in this game and even without overleveling I was able to easy go deathless for the majority of the game

  10. I will say that Mohg was the boss that I was finally facing some difficulty with, which is odd for me as the regular enemies were pushing me to my limits starting at Limgrave, but I was smacking down main bosses left and right with just under 5 tries each. Usually, it's a cakewalk through the levels with other FromSoft games, and the bosses are my main problem but not with Elden Ring, interesting. As one of the players who skipped Margit on purpose, Morgott is an easier boss to take care of, but only if you don't have to relearn all of the attack patterns that Margit drilled into you.

  11. We had very different outtakes on the Gargoyles. I went there pretty early and I never got the reprieve of one barfing while the other came at me. They were either both on me or both spitting poison.

  12. I personally did not struggle that much with godskin duo, was weird that Fatty Smough was the aggressor xD.
Maliketh was probably the biggest difficult-Jump in the game for me but Malenia clearly takes the top-spot.

  13. Idk about this list. Godfrey is a lot harder them Morgot lol I beated Morgot in my second try while in the first try he had 1 hp left. Godfrey on the other hand it took me 20 attempts to kill him with spirit summons.

  14. Sword Saint Ishin is still number one for me. I don’t think any Elden Ring bosses will ever measure up to sekiro due to the massive crutch that summons provide.
