The thing is, as someone who is a professional in the tv industry, studios aren’t buying damn near anything this year, because there’s a massive back stock of shows we worked nonstop on last year. We didn’t know we were signing away our own jobs this year. So it’s going to be very tough for a lot of everyday professionals in tv/film or the businesses that service the industry.

just an fyi this strike affects more than just actors and writers.
vfx artists are not included in any union so we are loosing jobs and not able to get any support or sympathy from Hollywood. even though we do just as much maybe more to make these shows and movies.
