This one had some much to cover I didn't have a chance to fit PvP in but in general your best PvP strat is exploding someone before they notice you. Cannon of Haima and Stars of Ruin give a nice AoE and spell chase option in PvP, and the Nebula is pretty deceptive with the ranged heavy so I'd rely mainly on those. Of course there's Moonveil but people are learning about it so just be cautious.

I played this myself and loved it, however I found moonveil to be so OP that I started to completely focus on it and use it over anything else including all spells a majority of the time

I think the Moon spells also block any spells sent your way.
I actually prefer a regular weapon with bloodhound step on my caster. Plenty of FP and gives me lots of iframes and distance coverage to let me focus on spellcasting.

Dragon build
IMPORTANT: you get staff passives regardless of which hand they are in. Cast meteorite spell with regal staff, while holding meteorite staff in your other hand for like an extra 30% dmg boost.
I really don't see a point in nerfing weapons in a game that's mostly a single player experience. People play souls games by themselves majority of time even if there are multi-player elements.
80 int is just over kill
astel is such a bitch to kill as a melee.. :S
oh and also: are you going to do pure dex and str builds as well, sir?
Is this build early game or end game? Thank you for your videos, they are always very helpful for people who have never played any dark souls games.
I've ended up going with more of an int/dex hybrid with wing of astel as more of a spellsword playstyle. You still get great nuking potential on the larger bosses but it makes the juking fights in some of the evergaols a lot easier when you can fight in melee range. The R2 on Astel absolutely claps low poise evergaol bosses like Alecto.

I lost the fingers on my confessor ? How can I cast now? Do I need a staff? Or can I rebuy or buy new fingers?
Wonderful to pop in and see someone I like being a fellow snow witch. It's an incredibly fun and potent build in both pve and pvp. I have attempted a few variations on it, but I kept going back to running with the frost themes both for the flavor and the damage
So in past games the average PVP cap was around 120, does anyone know what level they are getting good levels of PVP, seeing as it seems like builds require more points in this game?

Carian Knight's Sword is also a fantastic midgame pvp sword. The charged L2 can one shot. I had a lot of success with it.
