Im wondering why the taxi didnt drop her off at her front door? Why was she let out so far from home that she wandered the streets?😢
Without the victim's body, he could have gotten out of prison in about five years. Yet his crimes to that point indicated he was a s*xual predator of sorts with escalating behavior. So, what would have happened after the five years? Release on parole? Monitoring? Or life back to normal? How many of these sorts of criminals reoffend after a short time in prison? (I am sincerely interested. Here in the U.S. we lock up offenders for long terms and register those whose crimes are s*xual. UK and Europe are known to have shorter sentences even for severe crimes. Both sides of the debate have strong opinions. I am curious how it works out in real life.)

While it's truly horrific that this young lady lost her life so soon, I'll just never understand how bar hopping and getting stupid drunk out of ones mind, to the point you can't think, is fun for anyone!?

This reminded me of Debhani's case. Friends just sent her home in a taxi and no one saw her alive again.. 😢
Not to make the friends feel bad. My friends would have ended the night if any of us was too drunk and we all would have headed home… after dropping off the drunk one.
You never know when a dangerous individual is living near you until something bad happens. Which is one of the many reasons that old saying, if you see something say something, is so important.

They do things differently in the UK. Here, there is no option for parole for committing such a disgusting crime. Also, absolutely no idea why the guy that lived at the playing fields, who heard he screaming, didn't report the incident to the police. If I had heard a girl screaming her head off at midnight and saw a suspicious man, I would have called the police right away. Especially since her disappearance was all over the news.
