Lyrics:
Frozen light like falling snow
Here to guide us the long way home
The streets are silent
The moonlight is dancing
Four brothers searching for a meal
I know, that I am not alone
I know, the frozen light will take me there
Cast a light to lead the ride on
A flame for going home
Cast a light to burn the night down
A flame for going home
Frosty bite for searching souls
Drunken laughter and dreams and gold
Anticipation, the distance is dancing
The smell of something in the air
I know, that I am not alone
I know, the chosen road is ours to bear
I know, that I am not alone
I know, the frozen light will guide me there
Cast a light to lead the ride on
A flame for going home
Cast a light to burn the night down
A flame for going home
(Solo)
Cast a light to lead the ride on
A flame for going home
Cast a light to burn the night down
A flame for going home

This is in competition with Fate of the Faithful as my favorite song
And Jake says…."you thought I was good before, listen to THIS!"
This solo was something special. I never had it happen in my life that a solo would chase a wave of goosebumps right across my back…
It's not the first time a song made me have gossebumps, but usually, they are all over the place. These had a direction, pushed by the sound.
Love love it!!! โจ๐ค๐ฉถ
It's like time is Frozen ๐๐๐๐ค
Toes are CURLING
Back in the 70s !
Jake
Fitz and nighteyes searching for there road in the frozen lands?
Amazing song as always๐ธ
wtf with the voice effects, it reminds me The Mars Volta… but Kiszka doesn't need it
A cool progressive rock sound, some Yes feeling to this song. They are branching out and experimenting on this album.
Sam your bass is so so good
Poetry and beauty in motion ๐๐๐
i'm listening to this album for the second time today, but stoned this time, and i'm just here to confirm that this is THE ONE. it's so delightfully experimental of them!
Hard to pick a favorite song when the whole Starcatcher album is spectacular! ๐ธ๐ค๐น๐ผ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ๐ฅฐ
Greta Van Fleet is at the absolute forefront of music today
Solo trash. Sorry. Itโs just bad. Iโm a huge gvf fan but this solo ainโt it
what the fuck are your lyrics about. i donโt think you all fully know. i know you guys have interesting things to say somewhere in there PLEASE work on making it remotely comprehensible
Sounds pretty gay if you think about it.๐
GVF forever โค may every mf here be blessed, and love yourselfs you beautiful bastards
Just simply amazing band
โค
Greetings from cuba. We love you guys here
Same old beat and sound with different lyrics that's all it is
If this band is so great why are they not getting that much views
๐๐๐๐๐ฅ
Geddy Lee approves.
I love you Greta Van see you in Bologna ๐ค๐ฅฐโค๏ธ๐ฎ๐น
Great

Listened to this just after Ozzie Osborne's "War Pigs." What an amazing set of bookends…
"Great Van Fleet" !!!
I know, that I am not aloneโฆin thinking this song is groovy cool! ๐๐๐ป๐ซ

I like their new stuff but I wish they'd calm down with the reverb. Every track is just over saturated with reverb imo.
I really really think I'm over these dudes ๐ข in regards to the new album as a whole, it's all the same mid-tempo waxing poetic nonsense it's been since they got their fashion style figured out
They said this album would be less polished and a return to their roots? There is ONE SONG on this whole album that embodies that – Runaway Blues. That's it, I wanted a whole album like that so badly. And to add insult, it's not even 90 seconds long.
I'm always gonna love their first EP and album, but I'm finally done hoping they'll ever be punky again :/
Greta Black Sabbath ๐ค๐ป
Johnny Walker played lots of Greta Van Fleet some years back on his brilliant ROCK show on Radio 2, and it's great to see their progression. Really love the vocals, and great guitar. Cool band.
WHY WHY WHY weren't they there when I was their age, or me be their age now?????!!!!! Its not fair. I had the music from the 70's & 90's, (I dont count the 80's), but this is music I would follow around the world. Like DeadHeads. But I'd be a GVF follower. I finally find MY band, & I'm fu*kn 65!!! Absolute madness. Going to have to have a talk with God when I get there. Because this whole life hasn't been fair.
Personally my favorite of the album. Song is so beautiful
This one has a black sabbath feel in the riff.
1.25 speed rocks!!
Do they ever use a different guitar foot pedal? It sounds like every other song they made
