So disappointing, I really thought they had something special here. I thought it was going to be like Nintendo Switch but a PS5 version. So basically there making an upgraded version of the PS Vita which is also trash. I had it for years still brand new and never played for all the reason he said in the video. Streaming isn’t it, I also don’t want my system on at home to end up playing the handheld. It defeats the purpose. I like to play portably as well. Sony really need to step it up! I’m still going to play my Nintendo because it’s a complete different system and games. Hopefully Sony can come up with something just like it before the release date!

mhm as much as portability is always a welcome option~ my Switch are 99% on the Dock, even if i travel oversea or anywhere, i only ever bring my Laptop as it can do more than just gaming. That's just me i guess, since i prefer gaming on my desktop PC at home or my Gaming laptop when i travel~ the only reason i get a switch are for the exclusive games, ngl playstation now a days doesn't have enough actual exclusive game to make me want to even buy a ps5, but that's just me~

$700 is crazy for any handheld and is not affordable in any way considering you can get a ps5, xbox or decent pc for that money. I’d much rather stick with the switch oled rather than the steam deck or rog ally
The remote with screen is nice when you are at bed with you girl friend or wife and you can play with her in your arms

The Switch's hardware was already behind on release. I wish Nintendo would put more resources and care into their consoles' performance.
They can't keep relying on the "on the go" shtick they've been leaning so hard into since the Steam Deck puts the Switch's performance to complete shame. I shouldn't need to emulate XC3 and Zelda with Yuzu, but here we are. These games deserve to be experienced at 60fps at the very least.
If any of you have a 1st Gen Switch and a strong enough computer, I encourage you to emulate games you own on Yuzu to get the optimal experience. It's truly night and day

First of all… noones buys the switch for games like call of duty… literally noone… second of all there's a ton of good games in the Eshop besides the exclusives. And the rog is not that good, my brother has it and you need literally every single subscription to online servives (Ps+, Xbox Gold) to even play games on GamePass
As someone who purchased the asus rog ally day one i gotta day i love this thing. Really powerful and being able to use gamepass, steam and emulators the access to games and the crazy power this thing has is really amazing. And $700 compared to the steam deck makes this a no brainier. Much better hardware for practically the same price is great. Good ole competition…

Don't understand nintendo switch I've had one for months zelda is ok but Mario racing gets boring and pokémon just never evolved with it's fan base, compared to ps5 it's a basic pass time.

I felt like the title was such a clickbait. Like, yeah, these new consoles are great. So amazing and powerful .But Switch is still very much alive.Zelda is the proof of it.
The Nintendo DS came out i the early 2000's was a huge success and Nintendo continue to update it and make new versions. It was still on the market just prior to the switch coming out.
I think the switch will be similar. We'll see new versions. And system upgrades along the way. I doubt the switch as a concept is going anywhere anytime soon.
The Viture glasses are surely the coolest thing mentioned here right now… o.o they actually seem like an impressive and money-worthy product.

Sony has just completely lost its way with handhelds. It looks like a last ditch effort to say "We're in the handheld market" when in reality they fumbled it hardcore. Dropped off the face of the earth with the PSVita (Which is arguably one of the greatest handhelds ever made and it's potential being wasted will never be forgiven) to then creating this Frankenstein creature that doesn't even have its own identity is just sad to watch. I hope it does dreadfully in sales so the point gets across loud and clear, we don't want your handheld division to just be an accessory piece to your home console.
Hopefully the PlayStation is a stand alone thing I don’t want to buy a PlayStation 5.

Portable playstations never work out well lol, what we need is the agreement between Nintendo and Microsoft to join forces and put sony out of its misery once and for all, i mean i dont play xbox but the ps4 account issues made me not want to buy another ps ever again, but limited gamepass access on my Switch would be pretty awesome 😎
