  1. Definitely cover this more. Things to note as you move forward with regards to fusing Pokemon(spoilers for understanding fusions, kinda necessary):

    1) You can unfuse pokemon using a DNA splicer on them.

    2) Fusions take the first Pokemons first typing, and the second Pokemons second typing. There are a few exceptions to this, like Dragonite fusions will never try to take its Flying, it will only count as a Dragon type, same with Gyarados only being considered a water type. I can only assume similar limitations like this are to prevent broken combinations. There's a handful of them, but not many.

    3) Fusions actively morph their sprites/typings/etc as they level up according to normal evolution paths for both Pokemon within the fusion. If say, you had a Weedle/Pichu fusion, you would level it up and have a Kakuna/Pichu Fusion, Beedrill/Pichu fusion, and then when Friendship is high enough, Beedrill/Pikachu fusion, and then use an Electric Stone for a Beedrill/Raichu fusion. Beechu for Beedrill/Pichu is the cutest little thing and the fusion in general was very cool looking the whole time.

    4) When fusing Pokemon, the formula is a weighted average with a bias towards the body Pokémon for physical stats (Atk, Def, Spd) and a bias towards the head Pokémon for special stats (HP, Sp.Atk, Sp.Def) You can look up the specifics on the infinite fusion wiki on how fusion works. Similarly, when fusing, you take the bodies first ability, and the heads second ability, as options for the fusion outcome. If either has their hidden ability, that will overwrite their ability choice contribution.

5)There are alternate colorings for fusing with Shiny Pokemon, depending on if the head or body is shiny, or even if both are shiny, so that automatically adds a TON of sprite variants available.(The Infinite Fusion Sprite Finder does not show shiny alternate sprites)

    6) The only way I know of to get hidden abilities is a very rare consumable from lottery systems to change a Pokemons ability, or a rare event that I believe you can track down eventually, where random routes across the game become enchanted with Pokemon randomly having hidden abilities at a pretty high rate.(20% rate I think?)

    7) If you want to spoil yourself to see the stata, typing and sprite outcomes of EVERY fusion in the game, you can look up the Pokemon Infinite Fusion Calculator, or the Pokemon Infinite Fusion Sprite Finder. The calc lets you fuse any 2 and see both sprite options and all the stats/typings/weaknesses etc, while the sprite finder lets you choose any Pokemon in the game and see every fusion sprite possible for it.

I remember getting lucky and my route leading up to the first cave had a Hidden Ability event, and I got a Friend Guard Cleffa, raised it to Clefable for Unaware, and fused it with Gyarados. Water/Fairy Unaware, high stats, Dragon Dance. It was a monster.

I didn't play through the whole game, but most of it. It's pretty great. This knowledge, and even better if you look up the wiki, will guide you to your future fusions and have you theorycrafting forever. Hope to see more content for this.

  2. Dude, to me Pokemon FUSION is super huge compared to other fan made pokemon game that i played, I spend hours trying all kinds of fusion and trying to make Shedinja immortal , I was super fun , not a very suitable content for youtube though

  3. Regarding good RNG I think IVs and EV are both good. As you can go the entire game not knowing them, but if you do you can make different move sets! Plus in the new games theres ways to change or max them out near instantly for people who do.

Bad RNG is high / low attack power ranges from moves. This annoys me as if it says 90 power, it shouldn't be a range within that. It should just be my stat + IV EVs vs their defense.

  4. I demand a continuation! I want to see a Mr.Dude (Mr.Mime+Geodude), a Squirtqueen (Squirtle+Nidoqueen), a Hypster (Hypno+Cloyster) and a Farter (Farfetch'd+Haunter).

  5. I already saw it way back in a Randomized Nuzlocke challange (you can randomize your game with the black-clothed dude in the pokemon center I think), like 4 or 5 years ago, that was pretty fun and I think the game changed a bit since then (and got more custom spirtes). So sure go for it ^^ (also I think you don't actually have to go to the center everytime you want to fuse? at least I'm pretty sure you could do it on the go back then, but maybe my memory betrays me there)

  6. This fangame is honestly the most fun I've ever had with Pokemon. There's something about seeing all the wacky combinations that are possible that activates my neurons. Plus some of the QoL stuff they have like fast-forward is fantastic for people like me who think Pokemon combat is too slow.
Btw, the way the stats work with fusions is a bit odd, they do average out but with a bias based on which Pokemon is the "head" (the first name in the fusion) and which is the "body". Basically, the head contributes 66% of the Sp Atk, HP, and Sp Def, while the body contributes 66% of the Atk, Def and Speed.
