Dana Gould on Inept Car Salesmen and the Brilliance of Huell Howser

Comedian Dana Gould joins Adam as they delineate about cars, and after a recent experience with some inept car sales staff, they deliberate about younger workers today. Next they revisit some videos from American television personality, Huell Howser, where both Adam and Dana continue with some priceless commentary on clips of Huell’s California adventures.

Next, Chris reports the news, starting with a recent prison attack of disgraced sports doctor, Larry Nassar. This leads to some discussions on parents who take justice into their own hands; like the father that attacked Nassar at his trial. They also examine the recent Jonah Hill controversy, and with the advent of the internet and social media, the world gets a front row seat to view and judge snapshots of people’s lives.

  1. I'm so so glad that Dana called out the cold water plunge for the idiocy that it is xD I love adam but that's one of the few things I hate hearing him talk about. That and making the bed. Yeah we get it: weak willed people need a way to stay motivated. Not us geniuses, though. Don't need to cling to weird subroutines in order to feel successful.

  2. What is that when women get to an age they announce things like that? At some point our mom and aunt started that but the choices of announcements are seemingly random. We drive for 30 minutes past many buildings but then she announces (delighted tone) heyyy and there's MIchaels! and in another odd call out "Heyyy there's the stop'n'shop!".
We pass 100 non-descript buildings and 'There's Valco systems building! you could apply for a job there!".
To our knowledge they have no special relationships or usage of any of these randomly chosen places.

  4. Just bought a new 4Runner. Salesman attached the temporary tag with two large sheet metal screws. Totally fucked the threads in the tailgate up.
Emailed him about it. He told me I was right, he used the wrong fasteners because they were out. Definitely not a Jap.

  7. Damn great show, Dana and Adam are so funny. I love all the banter about family, elderly parents, school field trips and of course I always love any pop warner football talk. I'm laughing and tearing up a bit, I feel this stuff and can definitely relate
