  3. Interesting to see it this would not gotten as much media coverage if the incident didnt occur in an upper/upper middle class area… I am very sorry that this tragedy occurred but I get a strong feeling that the press are treating this with far greater importance than they do child trafficking or youth violence

  4. If it was just a normal car things might not have been so bad…but it was a fucking tank.

Seriously…these SUV monstrocities are absolute cancer, they don't adhere to the usual safety measures that cars need to abide by, and they are practically unstoppable DEATH TRAPS.

There will be more of these accidents. If literally anything else had caused this scene we'd be russing to ban or regulate it…but because it's a car…a precious car. Nobody is even glancing at it and asking: "So how did it manage to plow through a gate?"

  5. Apparently the driver had a seizure and bit through her tongue. The DVLA says: You must tell DVLA if you’ve had any epileptic seizures or blackouts.

You must stop driving straight away.

So why was she still driving? Was this her first seizure? I guess we may never find out.
