Tanabata Festival in Tokyo | Kappabashi (Shitamachi)

On 7/7, Japanese celebrate Tanabata, the meeting of two stars separated by the Milky Way β€” for me, it’s about parades and street food near Asakusa! MAP: https://maps.app.goo.gl/DHSKjtF7y54fusZk6?g_st=ic #tokyo #tanabata #festival

  1. John I hope you lucked out and did not get a copyright strike. Sometimes when it’s live like this they do not ding you. This was an amazing live streamed. I’m trying very hard to find a way to visit Tokyo. I’m a quadriplegic in a power wheelchair and accessibility with all my equipment needed is what is holding me back. I’m doing much investigating on how I can make this happen. I love how you present Tokyo great job. Have a great week ahead. Say hi to your wife and son for me.

  2. I've been on bikes my entire life, obviously not whilst sleeping and eating, and after watching your bike trip I was impressed that you had the confidence to do that considering you had just passed your test. I did laugh when you fell over but not in spite as we've all done that at some point. Making light of it stops you losing confidence and just shrugging it off. Just wish you didn't edit such short videos. Could easily be twice as long.

  3. Elon Musk has allowed free speech on Twitter. Zuckerburg censors free speech and has in the past allowed government intervention on his platforms violating the First Amendment. Musk is a hero, Zuckerburg is a government shill. Threads will be another way for our government to control our speech. Love your vids! Even if you support an un-American social media company.

  4. I was there today but left about 30 minutes after it was supposed to have started, since nothing had happened and no one seemed to know what was going on. Doesn't look like I missed much, honestly πŸ˜…

  5. You could have made a banner and folded it up and carried it and pulled it out when you were walking behind the parade "parade brought to you by Only in Japan "

Thank you for another fun-filled live from Tokyo. Can't wait for Part 2 of the Motorcycle Adventure. πŸŽ‰ PS: did it ever downpour?
