Coloratura is an operatic term . Meaning ornamentation of vocal melody. It would be 'Callas' of me not to mention it.
I love your careful explanations of even such terms like what the Alps are as it makes it easy to share your videos as a way to get more people into solving cryptic crosswords.
Really enjoyed this video – and solving along with you. I managed to see "Butterfly Stroke" a bit before you but had never heard of "Loosebox", "Neatherd", or "Barsac". Enjoyed 21D as a clue.
