I’ll have a full solo clear of the exotic mission up shortly. I wasted too much time at the start not finding the relic under the stairs the first time around and assumed it was bugged, but I figured I’d upload this guide on how to start it for the time being.

Just went to EDZ and got Aeonian Alpha-Betta on my 6th catch. I felt like an asshole showing up with 5 other people there grinding and getting the exotic straight away and then taking off.
Do you need to offer all three blades in the same run as doing the mission? And also, do all three players need to have done it to open the special door?
Do you need to do something special to get the fish?
I hate fishing

Does anyone know if I have to replace the swords in the statue? Like, place all 3 in one deep dive? I've been placing the blades in as the weeks progress

I did deposit the first fish on the first statue rhe first week, got the two new ones today, figures if you deposit again in the first statu you get locked and can't activate the second one….
What is the best DPS method for this exotic boss? It is too claustrophobic for rockets, but his crit is too hard to hit for things like linears or LMGs to be worth it. The boss moves around so much, and all the suppression/slow effects make it very difficult to work with.
Can you do a guide on how to not get trash teammates? Can’t even get through a regular deep dive with this awful matchmaking. 80-90% of the time I just match with garbage. People either leave or walk around like bots and most of the time don’t even interact with Toland.

Was surprised when running the quest solo and died once in mid of it. GM like back to orbit. Amazing cause it means some more work than just an hour until its done solo ofc 😛
Well I guess I got off easy. Joined a group who wanted to do this exotic quest mission and I didn't do any of the pre-requisites. There are 3 of those statues posted before the entrance, so each person can activate. We all went in and managed to finish the boss (those dumb scythe wielders from Lightfall as usual). Just needed to figure out what to activate in order to do damage to the boss in the maze-like rooms.

How many solo players can actually do this? 5%? 2%? 1%? So sick of paying for a game I cant LFG for as I work 6 days then play catch up and have to deal with a boss that LITERALLY HAS MORE HEALTH THAN NEZERAC 2nd ENCOUNTER! I wasted so much time fishing aka press E now over and over like a hamster in a wheel to try and solo a time limited boss with 10 million health, HELL NO & FU Bungie!!..
Sad thing is I have taken a break, touched grass, played other games, came back and tried over and over to LFG for so many activities that I never get completed, then as always I am left watching Eso do what only Eso can do thinking, why even bother?

Are the exotic fish time gated each week or is the weekly spot simply a higher chance in that area?
I do fishing 2 hours a day and still need to get 2 exotic fish…
I don't know what's up with the exotic fish because I average 4-6 a week since the 1st Tourney. Hayley has always been blessed with lucky RNG. Pulled a gally 4th month in D1 from a Legend Engram. A Fatebringer her 1st VoG, etc etc 😊
