The game is looking a lot better but I'm not interested in how the PVP is set up. I'd prefer a system like BDO where I can just PVP anyone at any time.
The question is: what about content? Every decent mmo is interesting at the beginning. I will surely wait until – after release – we can see the endgame content. If there is any or enough to keep playing it long term.
Combat is not impressive. Quests seem generic, the world has a nice feeling tho
The character animation look so bad to me. It’s so unnatural stiff and jittery :/
Poor animations can make or break a game fully for me, and from what I’ve seen so far, I think I cannot bother to try it as the running animations is a constant annoyance xD
But I do hope the game does well 🙂 it’s just not for me I feel

Everything about this stream screams corporate marketing. I'm sure my boy Asmon got paid big bucks for this. That's great, but this is a little souless. The game itself looks like the Division as an MMO with colonial flair. I think the combat is interesting. It doesnt feel inspired enough to keep people coming back.

I play eso and i really enjoy that game, but this crafting system with skinning and hunting is so cooll they really should put something like that in eso also .

A shame the game is so horribly optimised. Stuck at 40-50 fps at towns being well beyond the requirements

You game is literally completely different to mine 😂 is that NA/EU or is that different type of servers because all my characters were different. The factions are the same but the dialogue was completely different
my 1st impressions are that the game is trying to do everything but ends up not being much of anything. combat feels underdeveloped, crafting feels really basic, UI isn't the greatest, questing is generic. all towns look the same. i know its only beta but i can tell the games novelty will wear off really quickly. on a more positive note the sound your pickaxe makes when hitting rocks is the best ive ever heard in any game ive ever played
Yea there shop is going to be a problem…the viking and Kratos axe asthetics are going to be a game breaking problem.

The voice acting is really fucking nice, looks like the game improved a good amount since last time I played.
I like how the UI is like ESO except that ESO's is shit and outdated and this one feels like a way better more modern version of that.

Overall opinion: Is it 31 Augustus yet? My body is ready for a New World.
Still on the fence; the world and graphics look amazing, but seeing asmon quest made me feel like that combat was a bit boring still. Not sure if its a matter of me trying it out for myself snce sometimes a game looks boring to play until you try it out, but it just had that feel like you dont do much during it.
I don't see anything worth staying for. This seems like a pump and dump that once you've done the stuff you like you'll drop.

The problem is. Everything so far has just been the result of having a few trillion goddam dollars budget. If the devs are nothing but rats on a treadmill then this game will have no soul whatsoever, and the game play will absolutely suffer for it
It's kinda ironic that he enjoyed this but not Skyrim and hasn't touched W3 for years, I see no difference in terms of gameplay other than the online aspect.

and this is why pvp in games such as this suck major ass. One side does a huge zerg on the other, There is no challenge in roflstomp a few guys with a horde. Then later on you sit twin your thumbs and wonder why no one does pvp in the game. That killed off pvp in games many times.
hm I cant seem to get into this one, I dont know what it lacks though. I would rather play Mortal Online 2 than New World.
for some reason the graphic remind me BDO. Game looks nice though but not my cup of tea. Glad you guys enjoy it
