Or he picked a well-known and widely recognized (in Europe, Asia Minor, and the Mediterranean) symbol of Roman authority, law, and capital punishment? I don't know where Joseph Smith is today, or where his thousands of followers are. But, I watched a NDE testimony from this guy who saw him down there, as well thousands of followers, and his immediate family, asking him why he deceived them, mislead them, or something to that effect. That he (J.S.) was stuck in a loop, going thru this over and over. It (the entire testimony) is very, very, disturbing. The guy didn't even know who J.S. was b4 the NDE. He saw him in a book layer on in life.
