8 Minutes of Elden Ring Gameplay on Steam Deck

We had early access to Steam Deck and wanted to show a few games, like Elden Ring running in handheld mode. Audio is from the speaker to give viewers an idea of the sound quality of the system. This Elden Ring gameplay is from the earliest parts of the game when you first enter the open area. The Valve Steam Deck should begin arriving sometime soon to early per-order holders.

  1. frame drop is quite obvious… tbh nothing will ever beat Nintendo in handheld… not for a long time. If you really wanna game then i'd rather spend a bit more money and get a desktop/laptop which is far more reliable than this for heavy load games like Elden Ring

  2. Switch is old enough that it's really due for a new generation. It's not completely surprising that Steam can be this much better with new hardware on a similar power budget. Still, offering things from the PC library like this definitely makes an impression.

  3. If it can play switch game, then this device is masterpiece. This device GPU power around 3-4 times better than Switch that it should run Zenoblade 2 in full 720P….and all titles in full 720P
