It was a rough case, by the way i was watching L&O meanwhile i recive this Notification
Imagine being so insecure that your wife is more successful that you hire a hitman to KILL her. And that despite the living Hell you've put her through she STILL refuses to admit it was you. Dude was absolute scum.
I donโt like Home Alone 3
"Howdy do. This is Peter McCallister. The father."
He had a wife who loved him more than anything, even after what he did to her. He had what anyone would kill for, & he threw it away. For what? Jealousy?
Love John Heard โค.
"Fair. Good would be him laying here dead". It is always a joy when I hear a Lennyism that I had forgotten.
John Heard was great actor. He was also great on the Sopranos .
I miss Jerry Orbach ๐ขโค
Well wasn't that a fine how-de-do!
if he had just divorced her, no of that would have happened. but alas he wanted it all
I wish we could get old L&O episodes!
One of my favorite episodes.
Degenerate gambler
Does anyone know what the illegal act was thatโs referred to in the title, I missed it somehow
I remember this episode originally airing and I was soooo pissed at this lady. Now I know people aren't black and white; they're all shades of gray.

# 374!!!
WHOOOOOOOOO…. DOGGY!!! ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค
Lindsay Crouse and Hurd are spectacular in this episode.
Why are they threatening him almost immediately?
"In 25 years, when Mr. Groveman comes up for parole, the DA's office won't oppose it."
Can he make that kind of promise? Would it be binding? There's a good chance he won't be in the DA's office any more. Will the people who are there then be bound by that promise?

This was a great episode๐
7:43 Funny how all that is often just expected for a wife. Move for his job, give up your dreams, make less money, dont get promoted. Reverse the roles and suddenly her success makes him "feel bad" ๐
Upload the early seasons on Peacock please!!
It was sad and very tragic, both suffer the pains of success. People need to wake up and live life withour society coaching pressures to succeed. Whole families suffer not just the victims. Thats the message I take from this episode. Everyone here has their own opinion, that was mine. By the way the wife looks as lovely as in her earlier years.
Love How Lennie is still kicking it old school and still uses his trusty .38 snub nose revolver and refuses to kit out with the 9mm Glock 17 ( I think ) they had started to issue to NY cops in 1993 . 2018 the NY police finally completely retired the 6 shot revolver and 50 officers still carried it.
Ainโt that much love in the worldโฆ
This can happen in any situation, in any marriage where the wife is more successful than her husband. The husband gets jealous of her success, doesnโt know how to deal with it. And flips. So terribly sad when this happens. Sad for both parties.
Mr. McCoy is a legend!
Lol last time I got lucky was in 86…"all in the attitude lenny"๐
I'm searching for a particular Law & Order episode, does anyone know this episode (according to pieces of the plot I remember)?
The body of the victim is discovered in a school (I think near the playground), the victim is a disowned son of a rich man who wants payback against his father in any way possible.
A woman thought that the father of the victim was also her father and basically harassed the guy for answers without success, the victim thought it was his chance to get back at his father and started a scheme with her to blackmail money from the father.
But it turns out that the woman's mother didn't know who her father was and when the woman was 6 or 7, the mother just didn't had the heart to tell her that the man she was pointing at in a magazine wasn't her father and it got WAY out of hand over the years.
That's about all I can remember and I hope someone can tell me which episode it is because google is of no help.
