There are items you need to use to either let people join you or for you to join them, this is online co-op that also has cross generation support. Unfortunately there is no cross platform or local/offline multiplayer but online features are available which are going to be really helpful if you get stuck on a boss or just need help in Elden Ring in general. Why is my coop not working my online at all
On Xbox, it should read: "How co-op doesn't work"
so can we still co op in an area the boss is dead then? Or is there way to revive the boss without freaking going to the next playthrough?

one question, so lets say i choose the multiplayer option right, password protected yada yada, do i need to use tht item to summon them to my game everytime, does tht item only have 1 use then it goes away, and what if lets say we are done playing for today and we wanna play together tomorrow, do we still need tht item everytime and do they need it everytime, or is tht item just a 1 time use thing so even if you pick the multiplayer option my friends still cant play with me because they dont have item?
I think this is a definite step up from other souls games in making it easier. Although it can definitely be obtuse for those not familiar with how bad it's been in the past haha also one side critique, when describing the items, it would be very benificial to show a shot of the item since that makes it easier for people to look in their inventory and see if they do or do not have it etc. Also more visually appealing as a guide. Just a thought!
I play with 2Friends ER so 3Player Coop, the last summoned third Person always loses Connection after about 20Secs. Any1 have the same prob? 2Player works perfect but 3 not

So if I didn't want to even do the pve portion but just do invasions is that a viable strategy? How much does gear matter in pvp

I cant play co op with my friends in dungeon.. Is there a reason? I cant summon them when we were standing the martyr and vice versa..
And is there a reason why whether ee go a near dungeon the entrance is fog up?

I heard that only the host is getting items and rewards. So why is this made in such way? In any other rpg multiplayer type of game different loot would drop for different players.

BILL! I really do not understand why co-op in this game needs to be such a pain. Why not make it easy like Outriders and just invite-summon someone. Dont like jumping throu hoops just for co-op.

How does the Summoning Pools work? Sometimes they give me a prompt to summon sometimes and other times it’s just nothing. I’ve even noticed that when placing your sign in the pool you can get summoned in anywhere regardless of which pool you left your sign.

I have a question, what if after you use the remedy you are not able to see any signs? Also my friends aren’t able to see my signs when I put them down. However randoms have very rarely been able to pick up my sign. What should I do?
