As a father of 3 I can confirm that indeed "don't throw your child off the top of a tall structure" is pretty high up in the child rearing handbook's list of do's and dont's.. Me and my ex-wife added a new one to the list when our younger daughter was about 18 months old "always watch your toddler when they are playing outside. Because to a toddler, a snail (including shell) can actually appear quite appetising.." Likewise when we told that particular incident to a close friend who also had small children, she said.. "Yeah.. add caramelised cat poo to the list as well.."

Shao Kahn from the original Mortal Kombat games for me. He was so cheap and irritating, the satisfaction I got from watching him explode was carthartic.
So many Final Fantasy and Metal Gear villains to choose from! It’s nice you all picked some of the most iconic ones! The likes of Kuja and Skullface do deserve honorable mentions though.

Good list overall. Only notable omissions I can think of are Shang Tsung, King Dedede and any of the Gears of War villains.
