I've never known a Baltimore football franchise to have a receiver group this good and this deep, at least on paper. I remember Raymond Berry, John Mackey, Roy Jefferson and every great Baltimore receiver since then. But this team has what, 5 first round picks in the receiving corp? Bateman, Flowers, Mark Andrews, Agholor, OBJ, Duvernay, Proche. The Ravens should be able to increase their passing stats with that, assuming they can stay healthy, Jackson can get the ball to them, and offensive coordinator doesn't run 95% running plays.
I remember crying soo hard when we couldn't keep Anquan Boldin. Boldin was and still is my favorite all time raven receiver. Steve almost took the spot too lol

By sheer name, yes. We'll see what the productivity looks like, but I truly expect the new offensive scheme to give the WRs, TEs, and RBs more pass catching opportunities.
The other aspect of this is that the TE group is deeper than it's ever been. Andrews is still the #1 receiver even though he's not technically classified as one. Likely had an impressive rookie season and showed flashes of talent, and by all accounts, Kolar has plenty of talent as well. So they're at least 7 deep as far as legitimate receiving threats on any down. This is the first time I can remember there not being any sort of competition for roster spots at those positions.

No excuses. Lamar has everything he needs. I don't think he earned that contract but we're stuck with him now. He has more weapons than any raven QB in history and great defense to go with it. . I don't want to see another 13 point playoff game from the offense. Even with that average they still have a chance. The D is stacked, just weak on backups. But that can change after the cuts.
Anything short of the AFCCG is unacceptable IMO. If we fall short of that it's the QB. No more excuses. winning when it matters is more important than the best regular season record. Ask Brady. Perfect season and lost in the SB. I bet he would of traded in any of the 16 season games for a SB win.
