It is jokes, but it's jokes with some heavy thinking behind it, so a bit of serious stuff like that last bit comes out. I've believed that stuff now for 15 years, and no one has proved me wrong yet. Hell George is probably one of the main reasons I'm not with either party. They're both full of BS. The sooner we swing to middle, and make them sit down and actually talk, the sooner things will actually improve.

Back in the day George would have been considered a cynic. Now he’s prophetic.

Carlin always went in, but Carlin as an older man went in super hard. Its funny, as divided as america is in politics, pretty much everyone (regardless of party) agreed with him and loved him. I was a fan since the late 70's. Wonder what he would say about today… he was always on the social pulse of America. The world is poorer after losing him.
He’s 100% correct. The people in the United States per capita are the fattest people in the world.

When he said “semi-conscious anericans” I can’t deny that.
George Carlin was always funny smart and insightful. However after his wife of 30 years died, he seemed to become more bitter.
Carlin was always a political comic, but in his later years, he really took it…well, almost past the point of comedy. I loved his act back in the day, but his later stuff was less comedic and more ranting with a few laughs thrown in.
He spoke a lot of truth in this clip, but it was almost "too true" to be funny.

He isn't lying American politicians have sold the country out basically to China. Rebuild China then practically totally dependent on them for product and owe them money on top it!
