  1. So now that you have played [nearly?] as much Eldin Ring as Lost Ark, which are you more drawn to play? If so, care to share why? I know in this video here, at the end you make it sound like you haven't played it. I know you are not being deceptive. I assume you just mean you are excited to play the real game with friends vs. the beta you were playing in the vid I saw you fighting that mounted boss in. I guess?

  2. Breath of the Wild completely set the new bar for open world games. And I can't blame them, it's not only revolutionary to the zelda series but revolutionary to the open world genre

  3. From software are very smart. Allowing players to be stuck on a boss but having an open world to go do tiger things get stronger than come back makes for more engaging gameplay.

Compared to dark souls where if you got stuck you were kinda stuck/hard stuck!

Gosh the devs are soo good it’s insane… not to mention GRR Martin is on board sheesh!

  4. I think mobs should always scale up in any game where combat is relevant. Down-scaling is kinda boring and can make too many opportunities for cheese.

I hate going back to previous areas for completion and have it be nothing but a time sink. Upscaling helps with that.

  5. The journalist on this review is an OG Dark Souls fan back when he was still working at gamefront years and years ago. I can legit trust his review good ser. Have fun with the game o7

  6. Honestly with I don't fucking believe anything what they said even though IGN give a positive reviews.
There are way better people to watch and some reviewers are specifically play Souls game, I highly recommend watching them instead of IGN for any kind of reviews.

  7. Speaking of minimalistic UI was I the only one that didn’t understand how my friends could play wow with a literal fat square of action bars in the middle of their after maybe lowered a bit ? Like wtf is that I want to see the game I never liked that lol.

  8. DS2 = combat and quality improvements from DS1, but with a feel of DeS (imo)
DS3 = combat and quality improvements from BB, but with the OG feel of DS1
ER = combat and quality improvements from Sekiro, but with the feel of DS3

    Coincidence?
Literally every single FS game is a culmination of past improvements. They’ve never settled for less.
Even DS2’s lack of quality was not Miyazaki’s or the dev’s fault. The publication was just rushed sadly. But as people can notice, the lore of the actual story and NPCs are well written, and even the feel of the game is fresh compared to DS1.
While BotW felt stale to me after a while, I have to admit that the way the open world was utilized is the best I’ve played. I’m glad ER is utilizing that style for the open world, while taking everything they’ve learned from their past games to make this one.

This may just be my favorite game yet. Sorry for the essay, it’s been a while since I made such a passionate message lol
