  1. just spent months doing this with sf6, ready to do it again with mk1… watching reveal content, and then watching people I like watching that same content. it's a very fun time.

  2. What if the Lazar does considerable damage and you could use it for a combo ender, or maybe a full screen projectile to finish a round? It’s hard to say without actually using it and feeling it out. But I bet there’s a use for it. We’ll figure it out in time.
It also has a really long and whole screen hit box, could be useful for something maybe 🧐 I’m just throwing shit out there.

  3. I agree wirh foxy on summons vs ambush. (With sub zero slide for example) Even if a summon launches, theres no reason to use it if kanos knives double as a confirmable launcher, pressure, and zoning. You can just confirm with slide, assist, and follow up with the combo. And i assume that many launching summons will be punishable. But an ambush will never be punishable on its own, and may even make stuff safe. Launching summons have to do significantly more damage to be worth using. Also if any ambush has a quick startup i dont see why you cant use it once out of blockstun to interrupt between pressure while still blocking. Seems ridiculous…

  4. Just to chime in and hopefully not crush your dreams:

If you crouch block Jax ground pound, you'll still get hit but not fully launched. As the Ground Pound does basically no damage, crouch blocking is a way to avoid a full combo.

  5. might wait to cop the game bc one of foxy’s comments gave me a nasty feeling. theres gonna be a strat to not spend meter if it’s not for break. foxy said theres no reason to spend it on anything else, and that does makes sense. doesnt seem to drain your kameo either. if you do break, you can just wait your meter out again. what playstyle would perfectly play into this? zoning. it’s a no for me. i hope im wrong bc i’d see no logic in putting all these resources into kameos and combo potential, just for zoning to be meta again
edit: 38:00 says it best lmao

  6. 7:45 I was thinking the same thing about the bars; why wouldn’t I just always save my bars for breaker when I can basically use my kameo as combo extender or whatever? I feel like in a nutshell, kameos took the place of the variation system and offense bars.
