Like they said, it looks like a Bethesda game through and through, but is that really impressive anymore in the year 2011 + 12?
“It’s Bethesda so take it with a grain of salt” ugh what? Bethesda is about as good as it gets in game production. They had what, 1 mediocre game?
This game looks too nice and too big. Like vinny said im not sure how they will fill all that space and have it remain fresh 100 hours into the game
That chat member was 100% right about Vinny though. He is a constant cynic and I dont know about for him but it gets exhausting for me. I mean he always talks about how bad bethesda is, but they have some fun games. I'm sure Vinny or maybe one of his impressionable chat members, who will inevitably tell me I'm wrong because "binty say so", would disagree but I think most people generally find games like fallout to be fun. I mean it isnt just bethesda. Any game that someone even hints is bad his opinion is set in stone well before he ever plays it.

Starfield is going to be Bethesdas Cyberpunk. Because their other IP's were so good this will flop. Especially when it looks like a No mans sky clone. Admittedly a better more polished no mans sky but hey you can't polish a turd right

Man knowing the quality of recent Bethesda games I've got 0 expectations for this game, especially since Starfield uses the same engine as Fallout 4 and Skyrim and Fallout 3…and Oblivion…….and Morrowind.

This looks good, but of course, it IS Bethesda so it'll let us down somewhere — but we'll still have fun playing it.
Some of us enjoy the "wide as an ocean, deep as a puddle" games. It's what they excel at. If you want something different go somewhere else.
The resource allocation is very X-Wing…and FTL too I guess.
so it looks like fallout with a space theme, and from the look of the trailer you can't even control the ship. so its just even more bland outer worlds.
Really wish people would stop becoming rabid fans of games that arent even released yet, Vinny is fully allowed to critique what was shown, because Bethesda has given us plenty of reason to worry in the past

I think you are super confused by following too many chats' complaint at this point, Vinny. You want to play and enjoy games, and that's all you need to do. Just like how you throw your life away for Zelds and doesn't care about anything. You are a streamer, Vinny, not a television host. Not anymore.
This is gonna be a great mess-around game 5 years from now, after people make a bunch of gun mods, fix the core gameplay loop and probably patch out whatever it gets for a main story.
Unfortunately by then I'll probably have 5 kids and a mortgage
when I hear 'we put a ton of detail into the guns and items' what I actually hear is 'we didnt make many guns or items'
when I hear 'we made a ton of locations and planets' I hear 'we barely put any content into a ton of locations and planets'
It's probably not good to look at things so negatively but that's what AAA games have trained me to do
"New Atlantis" has got to be one of the most generic "space UN" sci-fi city name

Knowing bethesda's track record and seeing how ambitious they are with this game does not fill me with a lot of confidence. I think this game is going to come out incomplete and bug ridden at launch.

Just wait for the game to release and listen to reviews first, let a month pass, see where it’s at, and then decide. Don’t pre order a special edition of a game before even getting your hands on it
I'm in a weird place with this title because I'm so excited on the possibility of this game being so large and janky. I have a sweet spot for those titles.
it does look like no man's sky i just hope the combat is a big focus of the game and it looks like it will have a focus on combat

It's depressing that people still need it explained to them why they shouldn't pre-order games after Fallout 76, No Man's Sky, Mass Effect: Andromeda, Anthem, Cyberpunk 2077, Battlefield 2042, Overwatch 2, Pokemon: Scarlet, Last of Us on PC, Jedi: Fallen Order, Redfall, Gollum, and so many others. There are so many reasons not to preorder, and so few reasons why you should. If you pre-order, you're a chump.
Also ~the spaceship with the dragon animation will become the new sensation on the internet.~
