  1. So glad I do not live or work in California. I am a police officer in NC. We had one of these cars and it did not work for us at all. Too many things running off of this car for a minimum 12 hour shifts. The EV after a few months did not make it a full shift without needing a charge. It is now just sitting in a yard for events as a prop. No thanks!!!!!

  2. Going to have to drop you. I've noticed that you've been subtly or not so subtly promoting electric vehicles for quite a long time now. It's almost as if someone else is funding this propaganda scheme. Where is ALL the lithium and cobalt going to come from for all these vehicles? Secondly, where is all the electricity for the charging stations going to come from, solar and wind? And as if it mattered to you, the life span and cost of these already expensive batteries is in question.

  3. We are honored to be back a second time on this incredible MotorTrend podcast.
This was a great conversation about the work we‘be been doing to create a better future that saves tax payers money, helps the air quality we all breathe, and provides the absolute best mobile office possible for the police officers that use these cars everyday to keep our communities safe.

Thanks to our partner in crime (prevention) Tony Abdalla  and the awesome Jonny Lieberman  & Ed Loh  at MT!

  4. Got nothing against EVs, but its obvious they aren't suited to certain jobs. At least not yet. The ones I can think of off the top of my head would be truckers, roadtrips, and cop cars. Not enough miles on a charge, and they get worse performance in cold weather. The sooner people get this and start playing the strengths of EVs and not shoving them at everybody like the be all end all the better.

  5. EV vehicles is a scam in regards to saving environment. Clean hydrogen powered technologies is far better but get push back from the ELITES for their super rich friends and bosses that own the true pollution. Which includes ships, planes, trains, manufacturing industries, electricity grid using fossil fuels, trucks and busses, forever plastics that now makes those stretch fit clothes you love to see females (or males😅 wearing) and winter clothes, and so many others. Real solutions includes making hybrid vehicles more efficient and I C E more sustainable with sustainable fuels, another is better planning with current economic and it's infrastructures for commute and trains could be EV and utilized more for distribution of goods as an example. It's funny how even smart people agree with nonsense about EV as saviour.

  6. What's the short list of the hypocrisy of EV vehicles. The Plastics are made in a petroleum plant which pollutes the environment, the lithium for the batteries are Mine by 8 to 12 year olds in an open-pit mine in China. The power plants are either nuclear coal or oil-fired plants. And a very fake premise of global warming being man-made. Considering when you take the average daily temperature, which means taking both the daytime and nighttime temperatures both the Southern and Northern hemispheres and averaging them, you come out with a 1.12 degree increase in 200 years. And that's been proven more than once

  7. Well made and well researched feature on why THIS solution works for THIS organization. Hard to understand why this seems to bring out the EV haters.
