  1. I love how when a cop is involved in a crash the road is shut down for miles around so the public canโ€™t witness the accident while if this was two members of the public the road would remain openโ€ฆ.no matter what results they will be tainted because cops canโ€™t investigate copsโ€ฆ

  2. Not to say this officer shouldnโ€™t get the respect by all the officers but what about the bus driver. We put these officers on a pedestal they are no better than any other human being. We need to treat all humans the same way. Condolences to all families of both men.

  3. It doesn't take a crash scene specialist to figure out that the bus driver was unfortunate enough to pull in front of a cop going at an insane rate of speed. Any time a vehicle can hit another that weighs 3X as much and propel it over 150 feet down the road (in two pieces) you know it was REALLY moving. Not to mention the car continued another 750 feet down the road, too. But they'll find a way to blame the bus driver.

  4. Have you noticed how it's all about the cop and hardly anything said about the bus driver, no doubt the bus driver will be blamed, condolences to the bus drivers family.

  5. In the United States, all of the safety measures taken are due to someone getting killed or many getting killed , after lawsuits everything gets fixed, Tha is why the USA has so many road safety measures taken.

  6. Based on the fact that the officer was going eastbound on Oxford, and schoolbus going north on hwy59, you can be sure the cop was at fault for not stopping at the stop sign and probably going way beyond the speed limit.

The stop sign is only on oxford, so obviously the bus driver isn't at fault

    non-french canada is a 3rd world shithole

  7. What I see is failure in defensive driving, spatial awareness or the officer caused his own death and that of a civilian. For the investigation to be handled locally, full benefits are released.
I feel bad for both families but reserve any emotion until the facts are reported.
Look forward to updates. Might take 6 months.

  8. This story is disgusting! The bus driver is a hero but gets no remorse in comparison to a police officer that broke the law but gets praised. My condolences to both families. But the news is ao evil for this.
