The people who live there said there was a strong smell in apartments they know now it was gas they are lucky anyone was alive

From what I heard the owner was rehabbing the Exterior of the Building.
Looking at this Aftermath, I think it is safe to say that there was waaay more wrong with that Building than just the Exterior.
I hope they find Survivors and RIP to those who may have passed❤❤🙏🙏
The Tenants need to sue the crap out of the Owner, as they had been complaining about conditions in that Building for quite some time.
How sad. This shouldn't happen in the U.S.
